We attended a wedding in Estes Park in early February 2012. Some of the wedding party were staying in Mary's Lake Lodge so we decided to stay there. We were pleased with the results. The day we arrived had been a day from hell. Our flight had been delayed 2.5 hrs, so we arrived in Denver just in time for... More

Western décor complete with the stuffed buffalo head. Chairs not that comfortable. The pot roast was amazing but the dinner salad I ordered was just okay. We were there when a local band called Dennis and Tobias was playing. They were talented musically but we did not enjoy the selection… covering tunes like Linda Ronstadt’s “You’re So Vain” did not... Try the Pot Roast and you will not be sorry!! Amazing. Great food, fantastic view and very attentive staff. My wife & kids said we have to go back each time we are in Estes. More

We had dinner here in the Tavern. Our server was Nataliya. She was very nice and the food was excellent. More

The portions are ridiculously enormous. The swordfish was great but it was enough for two. We ordered calamari appetizer (cooked perfectly), cioppino seafood stew, and swordfish. It would easily have been enough for 4 people. Nice wine list that is reasonably priced. Good price for the high quality of the ingredients. More

After a day of fresh air in the Rocky Mountains, we returned to Estes Park, CO in search of a nice restaurant. Finding none that suited us, we asked a clerk in a store where she would recommend to eat. She directed us to a non-touristy "local" restaurant just 3 miles out of town out highway 7 to 2625 Marys... We enjoyed Sunday brunch here our last day in Estes Park. We were able to sit on the deck. The food was excellent and a good price. The service however lacked a lot. Our waitress spent most of her time visiting with a large group of hikers. Since it was a buffet that wasn't a huge problem but it would... More

My wife and I stopped at the Tavern after a very long day hiking. We were ravenous! Our dishes were perfectly cooked and surprisingly large (we couldn't manage to finish them despite our hunger). Had we known that we wouldn't have ordered appetizer... but then, it was also great. Great atmosphere as they have a tavern with live music next... More

Our experience here was very positive. We had good food and good service. We chose to eat inside. The old lodge is an interesting building and the views from the deck are lovely. No complaints. Our second favorite dining experience in Estes Park for an evening meal. More
