Mary Lake Lodge and Tavern

We stayed here while meeting up with family staying at the nearby campground. It was a great short drive into downtown Estes Park. Ate here and absolutely loved the chicken fried steak and cider. My boyfriend got the Mountain Man Meatloaf which has boar, elk and bison meat and really enjoyed it.

after a day of exploring the park and other areas we were starving. I had eaten there nine years before and remembered a pleasant experience. I was impressed again with the quality of the food and service. Get the very large chicken fried steak it was unique and hit the spot.

We ate there on a Friday night because they had live music. All the servers and staff were super friendly. I had the rib eye steak ($28) and unfortunately it was tough and a little over cooked. I mentioned this to the server and she was surprised and said they were usually really good. She took $11 off the bill... More

My best friend and I came here for her Birthday dinner. Everything was better then we expected. Everything was so flavorable we even had desert. We visited longer then usual. Service was awesome. Everyone kept checking on us. Nice wonderful friendly place to eat. It was easy to find since we were down the street. We were very happy!!!

Ive been to this restaurant multiple times but the last time my husband and I went, there was a live band performing there and it made our experience pretty great. Their French Onion soup is wonderful and my husband got a beef dish with roasted vegetables over mashed potatoes and that was great as well. They also have a lovely... More

We thought we would try this place for a quick dinner. It is a bar with average bar food and service. Drinks were good.

Had a hard time finding this place, coming from Estes Park. The sign appears to be down. We had passed it and when we turned around, found a sign on the other end of Mary's Lake Rd. You walk into the hotel lobby and take a right into the tavern. We were seated right away but had to wait some... More

I do not care for the resort but the food is very good. The homemade margarita with chipotle salt is worth every penny.

I visited the Lodge and restaurant with my parents from Alabama and were thrilled at the Colorado menu selections of Elk and Rocky Mountain Trout. These were both excellent choices and my parents are "foodies" from the south which has a strong culinary culture so expectations are always high. The dessert came along after our entree and the table was... More

The Game Meatloaf (bison, boar, elk and venison) was awesome! The salmon was moist and tasty. Had the brussel sprouts and the vegetable medley as sides. Both were delicious! The view is also wonderful. We will be back!
