We had the elk burgers and they were awesome. Its hard to get a burger that's not overcooked but these were perfect. Service was good too.

we had been told that this place had good food. Not for us. Maybe it was an off nite. But I dont think so. Salad bar was very lame. lettuce and some dressing. We both ordered the blackened ribeye. It may have been the worst steak I have ever gotten in any restaurant. It was cooked MR as I asked... More

Very good service. The food was very good and fresh. We had a fish entree and a fish salad and they were very good, tasty and well prepared. Prices are reasonable . Located on one of the main roads in downtown. Easy to park in one of the public parking areas. We would go back here again.

We went in and were immediately seated and given waters. We browsed the drink menu and didn't wait but a minute or 2 when the waitress arrived to take our drink order. We decided on the sandwich and salad bar. Both of us were pleased. The sandwiches came out as we were at the salad/soup bar. Although it is small,... More

This place has great food! We enjoyed our meals. We went fancy and when they said that had fresh "flown in" barracuda, I was skeptical, but it was just that... fresh! Prices were reasonable.

We came in for dinner one night, rather late. We were afraid we might be turned away, but we were welcomed in graciously, and people came in after us, too. It's a quaint building with friendly waitstaff. I ordered a bison and elk entre, and my husband ordered the rainbow trout. There was a self-serve salad bar. Service was a... More

We had elk and buffalo burgers. They were excellent. The service was very good. The atmosphere was great. We didn't have to wait to be seated and the seating arrangement kept things private and roomy. We had burgers at $9 because we saw a sign outside for them on the previous day, but they have a good selection of entrees... More

When we arrive at Estes Park for vacation, the Wild Rose is always our first stop for lunch. The servers are always really nice and knowledgeable, the food is always terrific, and the dining is consistently first-rate. I don't tend to give 5s, but if I did, this place would be on the top of my list.

We've eaten here a couple of times. It's a nice place, especially if you get a table near the front that overlooks downtown Estes Park. The service was better for our second visit and the staff was friendly. The soups were very good - we had the beef vegetable and the tomato basil. The salad bar was meager, do we... More
