good bloody mary, food was just ok

I personally would not rec this place. The food was just ok, the wait staff was just ok, None of our party liked our food and the prices were a little higher than average. I don't mind paying for great food but this place I should have skipped, Go to Grubsteak instead!

Great meal at Wild Rose. Arrived early for Happy Hour and sampled several appetizers, including mushrooms and nachos. Both were very good, as were the cocktails. Nice atmosphere and pleasant service.

We ate lunch here in downtown Estes Park. We picked this place because we wanted to eat outside and they had some tables available outside. Sandwiches were good, salad bar OK. The food was good, but the dining outside made it perfect for lunch on a nice day.

Server was great and genuinely cared about her guests. I wanted shrimp and lobster for our last day of vacation and she made it happen. The guys were excited to to have steak and lobster. The soups were delicious! The salad bar had six items...Not much of a salad bar. Blackened ribeye came out grey, not seared, no seasoning and... More

I ate here with my husband and 2 kids, my salad was ok but everyone else's was TERRIBLE! Pizza seemed to be the microwaveable kind, the chicken strips were like rocks and the buffalo burger was drier than cardboard.

Old and bit stinky (like most of the main street places in Estes Park) so our expectations were low going in. Lunch for 5 including 2 chefs and the food was better than expected. Good schnitzel, saurbraten and onion rings. Get your desert elsewhere.

NOT worth it. I ordered the chef's combo Buffalo and elk steak with scallop potatoes and vegetables. My boyfriend ordered baked brie and the german jägerschitzel. My vegetables were overcooked and the broccoli weren't fresh to look at. It was yellow and brown.. The meat was delicious, the potatoes were more cheese than potatoes and very bland. I asked for... We stopped in without checking TA, our mistake. We ordered the buffalo and elk special and it was average at best and very expensive, $30. I would suggest that you eat elsewhere, I'm sure there is better in town.

The food was cheap, almost like it was all frozen- I ordered the veggie pasta, it had a weird taste. My kids enjoyed their kids meals, however you could totally tell they were frozen pizzas. The beer was good, and our server was good.

We stopped in for the $5 appetizers and two-for-one drinks. My husband tried a local raspberry brew. He liked it so much that he drank two. I had some house Cab which was nice and we shared the nachos, which were very good. A great bargain for a mid-day snack. Happy hour starts at 3.
