Good Service and Food

The servers were very friendly and attentive. The menu had many options for dinner including vegetarian. I ordered Mahi Mahi that was cooked perfectly with a delicious sauce.. We liked the atmosphere and just about everything in this restaurant. We will be back again

This was the worst food I've ever had in my life. I know that Estes Park is a food desert or a restaurant desert but this is pathetic. My best suggestion is to just go to Safeway and get a rotisserie chicken and go back to your hotel and eat that for dinner. You will save yourself a lot of... More

In retrospect, I now desperately wish that we had read the reviews of this restaurant on trip advisor before eating here. Estes Park in general is a food waste land, but the meal we had here was not even worth eating. The mushroom appetizer was covered with some sort of mystery blanket of cheese and an un-identifiable blanket of ooze.... More

Just an okay lunch, we had the Elk and Buffalo burgers and sat outside. Servers were friendly and attentive.

The Wild Rose was able to seat our large group of 13 last week. None of the other restaurants on the strip last week were willing to. our wait staff was slow. .but we were a large group & they were busy. Our waiter was friendly & cheerful Food was good as were the dtinks.

The worst meal of our trip was here. We tried the Elk burger and were highly disappointed. My burger was really overcooked and didn't have an ounce of flavor. Ordered medium rare, it came out well done. They brought me another and it was still not very good. They'd lured us in with a girl outside handing out coupons for... More

Seated very quickly. Waiter was great. The food was fantastic... Salad basics but very good. Cloth table cloths & napkins. Outside seating also.

What a nice surprise in the middle of Estes Park! While we were looking at the menu posted outside the entrance, an employee gave us a coupon for half off our second entree. We were pleasantly surprised to find four German entrees on the menu! We enjoyed the Sauerbraten and Wiener Schnitzel- generous portions. Soup and salad bar were included... More

This is a nice little restaurant with a friendly staff. We ordered the elk and buffalo and asked for well done meat. Out server recommended we reconsider as it may be tough due to the lean nature. We did and it was outstanding. The meat was perfect at medium well, juicey and delicious. The service was good and they were... More

Neither the service nor the food was very impressive at all. We sat on the "patio" and it took a long while for anyone to stop by. The waiter brought a carafe of water and started to leave; we had to stop him and ask for menus. They advertised elk, buffalo and beef burgers. I ordered the buffalo and my... More
