Description: The award winning Wapiti Colorado Pub celebrates and embodies all things...
The award winning Wapiti Colorado Pub celebrates and embodies all things Colorado. From the amazing views to the beautiful, if unpredictable, weather. From the glorious foods grown, raised and created here to the amazing range of craft and micro brewed beers and wines. From the wonderful people who call Colorado home to the travelers that come to celebrate Colorado with us. The Wapiti believes that food should made fresh using as many local ingredients as they can. They have a wide range of great food from which to choose. Their menu includes juicy burgers, thick cut steaks, pub style sandwiches, crisp salads, succulent game meats, and so much more. They also have the largest all Colorado beer list in the state and feature Grimm Brother’s beer from Loveland.

Hearty and Tasty

The Wapiti has a varied menu. The pulled pork was very good. However, make sure you get enough sauce to keep it juicy. Also good were the onion rings which can come as a side order with any sandwich. The beer selection is extensive.

Stopped in for a sandwich on our first afternoon in Estes Park. Maybe I didn't make the right choice in meals but the BLAT (bacon, lettuce, avocado, tomato) wasn't all that great. The avocado didn't taste fresh, in fact, it tasted like a processed avocado spread and kind of ruined the sandwich. The employees were friendly and the beer was... More

Checked for local breweries on the Internet and this one came up. Enjoyed an afternoon drink here and then went back for food in the evening. Efficient and friendly service led us to the perfect choice for our supper needs - pulled pork tacos - fresh, tasty and just the right amount - we do often find ourselves over faced... More

We read reviews of other places in Estes Park before choosing this one. We wanted to try the Elk burger and it also carried a good selection of local Colorado beers. I tried the Agave Wheat - recommended by the wait staff, which is made by Breckinridge Brewery in Denver. Perfect for me! My husband and I shared the elk... More

We arrived around 2pm on a Wednesday afternoon and were greeted by friendly staff. There was plenty of seating and the staff quickly accommodated our seating request (moving tables together by the window for hubby and me and our three kids). We ordered a variety of burgers (beef, elk and bison) and were all very happy. All the meats were... More

The only saving grace of this place is the expansive beer selection; however, most are bottles or cans. Plus our waiter (Tyler) was very friendly and engaging. Unfortunately the food could not meet expectations. The side salad was wilted and dry iceberg lettuce and appeared to have sat a few days in a cooler. I ordered the ribeye which came... More

Nice place, tucked away from the main drag. Good food, service could be better, but got everything we asked for in a timely manner.

Lunch with friends. Good chili, salad, burgers, appetizers and great wait staff. Great selection of local beer. Recommend this place.

Have recently had a series of bad experiences with promotions and wait staff which negated their usually novel food. And after the floods of 2013, there has been a lot of price creep so that very few entrees are less than $10. Not going back.

The Wapiti was the first restaurant we ate at after arriving in Estes Park. We knew we wanted a delicious cheeseburger an the Wapiti offers both elk and buffalo burgers (its in the name, look it up!!) The food was really good! Everything came out hot and fresh. We did ask for the burgers to be Medium however they didn't... More
