Good Restaurant Beautiful Atmosphere

My family ate here and went on a small tour of the Stanley Hotel. The food was pretty good but overpriced, to be expected. My husband and I went here. The food was good and the service was excellent. The portions were huge, we took leftovers home.

We were at the Stanley Hotel my daughters wedding this past weekend. It is a fantastic venue built by FO Stanley ( Stanley Steamer). But back to the review of the bar. The bar is absolutely stunning. Having been built over a hundred years ago the woodwork is done in beautiful dark hard woods. The bar features a copper tiled... More

Had dinner there twice. Design and ambiance in line with the hotel's historic atmosphere. Overall relaxed elegance. The first time - probably due to the busyness of the restaurant - the service was not impeccable, however the food came to make up for it. Amazing smoked trout pate and red trout was extremely tasty. Beetroot salad was quite appetizing and... More

After waiting and waiting to be seated for our 7:30 reservation we were very disappointed. The food is expensive. Service was excruciatingly slow. We did Not get our appetizer until 8:22 and no read or anything in between. The entree was not as described on the menu and it was terrible. The wait person said the chef had changed it.... More

The restaurant is nicely laid out to minimize noise and provided nice linens, silverware and overall ambiance. Though the menu is fairly limited, the wine selection was better than most in my opinion. We had the meatloaf and the salmon and both were well prepared and tasty. Our waiter, was polite and very helpful. Overall it was a great experience... More

The restaurant was convenient since we were staying at The Stanley, and the menu looked good. Prices were a bit high, but that's what you get at a hotel restaurant in a tourist town. You have to go through a narrow walkway in the crowded bar to get to the restaurant. We had to constantly ask our server to speak up... More

We were in Estes Park for 2 nights and we ate here both evenings for dinner. The Colorado Meatloaf is one of the most delicious meals I have enjoyed. Other members of our party had the Rib Eye - perfection . On night two, I opted for the special of Halibut and wild rice - again perfection. I highly recommend.... More
