After several meals that at best were below average in the town, we dined at the Stanley and found an above average restaurant. Good service, quality and presentation. Thank goodness one place in that town felt compelled to go the extra mile!

While visiting for a week in Rocky Mountain National Park, we had a chance to eat at several of Estes Park's restaurants. Since our stay coincided with my wife's birthday, we decided to go to the Stanley for that special occasion--a hotel we have always admired from afar but never visited. I would opine that reservations (especially for dinner) are,... More

Tried going there for dinner and had to make reservations. Were not able to get one before 8 pm on a Monday night! Since we were starving we waited, the food probably was partially edible because we were starving. All the food was salty and overcooked. Gave it a second chance for breakfast and had greasy hash browns and an... More

We visited on a Saturday night so it was really crowded. The bar and restaurant are connected so they are really noisy. We ordered and then our server said that the kitchen was really backed up. When our meal arrived, one entre was lukewarm. It should have been better because the menu options sounded great, but nothing was exceptional.

The menu offered some interesting options including wild game meat loaf and crumb-coated trout. Service was excellent. Wine list was diverse.

Food was outstanding, service was great. Wonderful little upscale place, nice menu choices. You can sit outdoors at times and enjoy a drink on the patio with some appetizers.

Atmosphere on the patio was nice. Food was tasty, but my chicken (Caesar salad with chicken) was dry and tough to cut with a knife. Pricey.

Though it is expensive, the dinner we had here was amazing! We had just driven 6 hours and we were really hungry. They sat us right down and we were able to order right away. The staff was excellent, and the food was really great.

Lunchtime service was fine. The burger was probably frozen or preformed as I could open it up like a just split pitta bread or like a circular womens purse with a zip on one side. (See picture). Server asked me how I wanted it cooked. Medium was the request but with such a thin burger the question is almost irrelevant... More

I've been here for breakfast twice and loved it both times. I loved the eggs benedict with chipotle hollandaise. Dining room is rather formal but they have no dress code (thank goodness), so our shorts and t-shirts were OK. Service is what I'd call "stately" which is in line with the more formal setting. However, if you are in a... More
