In spite of the very busy (and possibly understaffed) dinner service, our waitress was extremely attentive and helpful. Our steaks, sides, and desserts were top-notch excellent. Yes, this is an expensive restaurant but the Cascades offers a unique experience that is worth every penny.

Undercooked and tough steak then they substituted a different cut for the rib eye steak I had ordered. Free dessert doesn't cut it. Didn't want to make too big of deal with guests we had invited to fine with us. Restaurant is at one end of the bar-- sure doesn't add to a fine dining experience. Waiter ignored our empty... More

My friends and I dined outside on the back patio of the hotel. Despite nearby thunderstorms we were well covered by the large square umbrellas and stayed perfectly dry. I had an Angus burger with cheddar cheese cooked to medium. It was the best hamburger I've had in a long time. I also ordered their iced tea which is a... More

I stayed at the Stanley Hotel and ate several meals at the Cascades. Not only was every meal very good the service was great. Friendly service (especially by Emily) and it was also fast service. I ate in the restaurant and the bar and both sports were great. We had long days in Estes Park so a good restaurant was... More

Our party of six, spanning three generations, had a delightful lunch in the Cascades restaurant located in the Stanley hotel. Even though it was the busy July 4th weekend, the service was terrific! Natalie, our server, seemed to know our needs before we did. The beer, sandwiches and salads were quite good, and the kids menu hit the spot with our... More

We had an evening meal here whilst touring the area with friends. The food was very good with the portion size being large. The alcohol beverages were competitively priced for the area. We were surprised at how many people were in the restaurant. It was completely full with tables being filled as soon they had been cleared of crockery and... More

During a visit to the hotel we sat at the bar and the head bartender was truly a delight. He was amazingly knowledgeable not only of all things whisky but of any other drink you could imagine. He made the beautiful stop at the hotel even better by his excellent service and company.

This was a terrible experience and it was my birthday dinner!!! Service was slow and neglectful. He acted like we were a hindrance instead of guests. Cocktails are terrible here especially the corpse reviver #2. For starters we ordered soup, the burrata and crispy prawns. The crispy prawns are terrible; one of the worst dishes I've ever had. It the... More

We had dinner at the Cascades in the Stanley. We really enjoyed our experience. It was a lovely setting and a nice adult dinner. The Stanley is such a landmark and a must see whether you do dinner, or not.
