We were in Estes Park for 2 nights and we ate here both evenings for dinner. The Colorado Meatloaf is one of the most delicious meals I have enjoyed. Other members of our party had the Rib Eye - perfection . On night two, I opted for the special of Halibut and wild rice - again perfection. I highly recommend.... More

I've eaten at this restaurant many times and always enjoyed it but this last time was a real disappointment. The kitchen staff must have changed as the food was just average. There were six of us. Three got the special which was scallops. All said it was not hot, the scallops were cooked fine but the sauce (with raisins) was... More

The food and service was amazing. The hotel itself was amazing, and the restaurant is the same. Signed photos of the famous adorn the walls--including the famous bar scene from the movie Dumb and Dumber. Great food, great fun. Definitely a must if in the area.

Excellent service, neat environment with lots of old pictures to look at plus a great collection of liqueur bottles to see. We ate in the bar area which has same menu as the formal dining room. The table tops were copper which made it unique. We've eaten in the downtown area several times and this place far outweighs any place... More

The food was quite good and the menu varied. The service was very good, efficient, and helpful. We would happily eat there again when in Estes Park.

We have stayed at The Stanley several times over the years and have even stayed in the Stephen King room! I've given 5 Star reviews before and normally enjoy everything about The Stanley! That being said, we stopped by the bar yesterday and it wasn't very busy. We decided to order a couple of drinks and Apps. We waited 8-10... More

We walked out before ordering. The prices for food and drinks were unbelievable. we went to Estes and found excellent food and drinks for less than 1/2 the price. The food may be OK, but I don't know.

This is perhaps the finest restaurant for Fine Dining in Estes Park. The service is excellent and as was the food. Steak was cooked to perfection and prices reasonable. Bar is outstanding, and the drink menu consisting of forgotten cocktails of the past is truly outstanding. Western style old antique hotel that strongly suggests of the paranormal. Great place for... We didn't sit in the restaurant and eat we just went to the bar and had dessert and drinks. My bloody mary was very good and the pumpkin creme brulee was amazing! However my husband had the german chocolate cake and it was dry like it had been sitting a bit. Amazing selection of whiskey's and extremely knowledgeable bartenders who... More

We actually ate at Cascades three times during our five day stay at the Stanley. Each time, our servers were knowledgeable of the menu, able to answer questions, welcoming to those who arrived late, and responsive to our needs. Each time, however, the restaurant seemed understaffed. The servers were often handling both restaurant guests and gets in the adjacent Whiskey... More
