Known for burgers-good-made when order, always a line out the door but it moves quickly. Would recommend it

I had to eat here twice on my visit as the food was so delicious! I recommend the pulled pork sandwich, or the cheeseburger with grilled onions. Both were satisfying.

Penelope's has great burgers, some of the best I've ever eaten. On a trip to Estes Park, we'll eat here more than once to offset some of the fancier restaurants. The prices are decent, and the atmosphere is relaxed. The restaurant is slightly rundown, but they have old pictures and items decorating the walls which gives it a more charming... More

We were just looking for a good burger and not over priced but I would say Go early for lunch it was very busy & but worth the wait. Really good burger & reasonable price! Very nice decor and atmosphere.

It was about 2 and we were looking for lunch. Found this place at the end of downtown. They hit out needs with Gluten free Buns and bread. I had a mushroom and Swiss with fries and my wife had a BLT on a gluten free bun. Perfect place if you are looking for a juice burger and fries! You... More

We love eating at Penelope's!! Great flavor with fresh toppings on their "world famous" burgers...sweet potato fries were awesome too.... the wait in summer can be long, but if you time it right, not too long. Great food, great service. We will definitely be back!!

Waited forever for a burger that was so-so and droopy fries. Not inedible, but I'd have been just as satisfied with a fast food joint. Lunch was about $24 for two people. It's an okay stop if you're nearby and hungry, but don't go out of your way.

The burgers were good and real but they messed up my daughter's order so that was kind of a bummer. The fries were gross-soggy and cold. We weren't totally disappointed but we won't be going back.

We were overall unimpressed. The fried fish tasted odd. I ate one bite of it. My husband said his elk burger was ok but tasted frozen. The fries are good though. Overpriced too.
