Nepals has been our favorite place in Estes for years now. Love being recognized as a local even though I'm only in town once a year. But we usually eat once at the buffet for lunch and then once for takeout for our cabin later in the week. Give it a try. Love all the Everest and other Nepal mountain... More

I sometimes forget that parts of the world operate at a much slower pace than Americans. At this particular restaurant, the Nepalese were clearly operating on their own schedule. We came just before the dinner hour and we and another couple were the only ones there. An elderly man greeted us, guided us to our table and then handed us... More

Nepal's Cafe offers a lunch buffet as well as ordering off the menu. I had the buffet which offered three chicken dishes, including curry, chili, and Marsala. Also included were noodles, rice, creamed spinach, green beans, potatoes, flat bread and various sauces. No hummus or any type of salad, which would have been a nice edition. I felt the price... We went to this hotel seeing the nice reviews but it was a teriible experience. We went for lunch and the food took 1.5 hrs to arrive. Because of having lunch here we missed on many activities we planned for the day. The food quality in itself is very poor. We had Momos which were not cooked properly. We also... More

Timing appears to matter at this tiny restaurant. Ours was good timing as it got quite busy and thus tricky to navigate the small buffet. Food was good and service was fine. I particularly enjoyed the naan and vegetable curry. Will return to explore their menu on our next vacation.

We've visited this restaurant 3-4 times. The first was the best. The last two have been disappointing, perhaps because the restaurant was noticeably busier than the first visit. Service was chaotic this latest time, with waits to order and receive the check as four different servers were involved. Chicken was overdone and dry in one of the dishes, and for... More

Over the past 5 years or so, I have visited Estes Park every summer at least once to see family. I have made it to this restaurant at least once per visit if not twice. I tend to order the Samosas, Naan bread, a mango lassi, and a curry, saag, or veggie entree as part of the meal, the other... More

We choose Nepal's because of all the great reviews on trip advisor and curiosity about the cuisine. We were very pleased with our meal. We shared curry lamb and shrimp, and they lived up to the accolades. We sat outside on a pleasant evening. The prices were fair as well. The only negative was the slow service. It took at... More

For a quick lunch - this is the place. The lunch buffet had some of my favorites- saag and okra (can't find those dishes on just any old menu). It was very busy during lunch but I was able to eat in twenty minutes and be on my way.

Absolutely worth finding. It's small--seats about 20 people max, so be prepared to wait (We didn't wait on a rainy Wed night at 7pm.) Worth doing take out, too. We were in a small table for 4 next to a small table for 2, which was tight quarters, but allowed us to meet a nice gentleman traveling alone seated next... More
