Mom and Pop Nepalese Hole-in-wall

Nepals Cafe is a very small, mom-and-pop and I think family operation located off a concrete patio area near the river. It is behind the main street and difficult to find the first time you go. There are only a few tables in the restaurant, but much of the year, they have 4 or 5 additional tables... read more

we went for dinner twice. On both occasions we had to wait at least 20 minutes in queue. The food took another 55 minutes to arrive. Although the prices were low, all the entrees were quite rich with usage of heavy cream and cashew paste. Breads were excellent.

We ate here last month on two occasions, once sit down and the next, take out. Both times, the food was excellent. They get crowded early, with probable cause. Korma dishes were very good along with a few others I'll never remember the name of. Fresh ingredients, expertly prepared. The seating is limited but they do have outdoor tables. The... More

Small place, a little hard to find, but very worth it. Food is awesome at very reasonable prices. Servers were very informative explaining the menu. They were able to turn down the spice for our teenagers. We liked it so much we ate it 2 nights in a row.

Our daughter loves Nepalese food. While we stayed in Estes Park for a recent vacation, she convinced us to try it. We had no idea what to expect. We were blown away! The food was so, so good. Great for vegans and anyone else who likes to try new cuisine. The service was beyond charming! These folks really know how... More

This is a restaurant I've been wanting to visit for awhile. I love Indian Food but my husband was a little skeptical. So happy we went. The restaurant is fairly basic with a few tables, amazing customer service though. We were seated right away. The waiter was extremely helpful with lots of great suggestions. We had samosas as an appetizer,... More

We went here with a large group of 6 families, children and older people. We had chicken momo, chicken pakora and take-out dinner of chilly chicken. First of all, the chilly chicken should be re-named as it has nothing to do with their Chinese counterpart. The momo was awesome but pakora was so-so. The quantity of the take-out was very... More

This is a nice casual place with a great lunch buffet. It's very conveniently located on the river walk and possibly the only place to get Nepalese/Indian food in Estes Park.

If you are in no hurry to eat then please eat here! We waited for our order to be taken. Waited for our food to be delivered. Waited for more water while my mouth was on fire. Waited for the check. This was the waiters second day so he couldn't explain the items on the menu for us and more... More

We chose to eat from their lunch buffet and not being familiar with this type of food I tried a little of several things. All were too spicy so I went hungry.
