They set us up nicely, we told them we were expecting two other people, so gave us the extra settings and menus, and then we ordered our food. Told us the others would order when they arrived. Food was hot and pretty standard breakfast fare, MIL had Belgian waffle, OJ and coffee; needed a straw and to-go cup for both... More

Crescent City has little to offer in the restaurant category, the Apple Peddler definitely changed my opinion of our dining options. The food was great, served fresh, hot when it supposed to be and cold when it supposed to be. The staff was friendly and efficient and prices very reasonable for what you received.

The Apple Peddler in Crescent City is an interesting restaurant. The decor is whimsical, pleasant. The food is ok. I had chicken, my wife had shrimp. Not bad, but nothing outstanding. We were there in mid afternoon for a late lunch and the restaurant was not crowded and service was good. A little pricy.

Nice place to eat breakfast. Don't know about other meals. No view but we just wanted to take advantage of the $7.99 steak and eggs and we got good service and food.

Small town diner with great food and large portions. The food is tasty, filling, and exactly what you'd expect from a family diner. We ate breakfast here. The gravy in particular was delicious. We ordered country-fried steak (with hash browns, two eggs, and rye toast) and bacon & eggs (with biscuits and gravy). If you're looking for somewhere to fill... More

We always eat here when staying in Crescent City---the hotel we stay at (Ocean View Inn and Suits) gives a discount if you show your room key. Sometimes it is as good as Denny's and sometimes it is just plain not so good! I think they stink at doing kid's food--unless you order breakfast, but even then it is so-so.... More

Very long wait for seating, under staffed. Service was very poor and food was comparable to poor quality fast food. Portions small for price.

Always on the lookout for an apple pie. This restaurant was recommended by locals and we were not disappointed. Great supper and great apple pie.

We visited this diner for lunch one day. I ordered the soup and half a sand which. The soup was split pea and ham but it was sort of the consistency of glue so I only ate one bite. The half sand which was to be ham and Swiss cheese. After biting into the sand which it seemed to be... More

Stopped here on evening for an early dinner as we were passing through town. It was OK, but I would probably visit another diner if I was ever in town again. Service was friendly, but a little slow. I overheard our waitress on the phone with someone saying they were busier than normal - I think she was trying to... More
