Family style atmosphere, clean, with great views of seals and the harbor. They have great fish and chips (their speciality). Lots of us Crescent City locals go here to watch the seals and the boats. Service can be slow, is often crowded.

Been there several times, almost always crowded with a waiting list. Good salads, most other food is deep fried. They serve lots of fish and chips. Not my favorite place to eat as the lines are long and I try to avoid fried food. Every one to their own, I will eat else where.

On a rainy day, we had lunch here. We each had the tasty clam chowder and shared an oyster plate. The soup was very good with lots of clams! The fried oysters were enough to share with a large portion of fries and coleslaw. From our table, we could watch the sea lions and Pelicans. it was a good stop!

My adult son decided on this restaurant when we dipped down into Redwood country on a Pacific Northwest trip. When he drove up to the marina, I thought OMG we are going to pay big bucks for just being near the water. What a great choice! First we were thrilled to see the sea lions lounging on a nearby dock--it... More

Just wanted something other than another fried coast fare offering. Ordered a burger: tasty and a good size on an enormous bun. Asked for mustard and was told that the kitchen didn't have any. (??). Slaw was tasty and the portion quite large. Burger and ONE side (either fries or coleslaw), was $10.95 A pretty good burger but a little... More

My husband had the Seafood Chowder and I had a combination plate. Most was very good however the fish could have been better. The place is very busy so you'll probably have to wait your turn. While you're waiting you can watch the sea lions playing on the rocks just off shore!

If you have time and are coming to Crescent City, you must stop for Chowda and Fish & Chips. Huge portion and the best, that's all I can say from a 20 year Restaurant owner.

best chowder yet that we have found. Buy the prawns and chips, you would think they were just brought on the ship. So fresh and delicious the prawns and fries with Coles slaw and garlic bread. Excellent service and price don't miss this one.

We met my cousin and her husband here for lunch and I had a 'hankering' for fresh crab. Assured that the crab was fresh, all of us ordered the Crab Louie. Served in a gigantic clam shaped dish, this was absolutely the best Crab Louie I have ever had. It was enormous and made with the freshest of ingredients. I... More

Well, the place isn't fancy and its a bit noisy. However, its got an impressive view of the bay (complete with sea lions) and that, combined with the excellent service and delicious food, make it a hit.
