Solid meal, great price

We put our name on the waiting list for the seafood place down the road and were told 30 minutes. After 20 minutes we went back in only to discover they hadn't sat anyone on the list yet. We left there and drove down the road to Perlita's and were very happy with the meal, the service, and the... read more

Very friendly waitstaff. Food was only ok. Small portions. Did not expect everything to be fried. Chips tasted like they were from a bag, salsa was good.

My husband and I have been eating at Perlita's for several years. Not only is the food delicious, especially the salsa, but we are treated like family while we are there. It is a small family-owned business with fast and attentive service. We eat there almost every week and are often joined by our family and friends.

Great friendly service, authentic Mexican food, try the carnitas in your chimichanga. Place looks a little dreary outside but good inside, the prices were fair for what though get.

We loved the special burritos, chimichanga and the jarritos. The salsa was excellent. Small restaurant run by a family with great smiling customer service. Great value for the price.

We eat Mexican regularly so it is hard to make an impression...the salsa was delicious. The burrito supremes were large and filling...green sauce, guacamole, meat with cheese. Huaraches with carne asada was terrific...special of the day with cabbage, avocado and Mexican cheese...yummmmm! Daughter disappointed due no queso dip. Delicious!

Four of us stopped here on our way through Crescent City. Two had tostada salads and I and one other had an enchilada combination lunch. All were very good and reasonable priced. The service was good and our food came quickly. We'd all eat here again.

A native Los Angeleno, I've eaten a lot of Mexican food. This is very good Mexican food. The chile relleno was excellent (my wife ordered it both times we visited). I had chicken mole on one visit and meat tamales the second, and both of them were terrific. The chips and guacamole are fresh, the beer is cold, and the... More

This little jewel of a Mexican Restaurant reminds me of my favorite places along the Baja coast. My favorite menu items are the tamales and the soft tacos. An excellent selection of cervezas! Chips were good, but the very mild salsa is obviously made for the tourists. Service is excellent, with indoor and outdoor seating. If you like your Mexican... More

Our family had dinner here last night and it wasn't as good as the reviews made it out to be. The chips were stale and the salsa was too hot for our liking. We asked for a mild salsa and they gave us warm enchilada sauce! The food was average.
