Great hearty breakfast

Great breakfast spot. Coffee was drinkable but not something I would seek. I ordered a small California Benedict and it was really good. I like that they had a small version which is one Benedict instead of two. The California had avocado, sautéed spinach, tomato, a perfectly poached egg and... read more

This restaurant is very well situated right next to the Best Western. The food is fresh. Original. Servings are large. The halibut was excellent, however some people may find it had just a bit too much cheese on it. The french fries were crispy and well done. Went there two times, because I felt it was one of the best... More

We couldn't have picked a better place to stop at as we were passing through Crescent City. We had just done some hikes in the Redwoods and the 16 oz. steak, chicken cordon bleu, and seafood pasta we ordered did not disappoint! The servers were very friendly, giving this place a cozy vibe. We decided to go out for breakfast before continuing our road trip. It was a good choice. I had a few concerns based on earlier Trip Advisor reviews but the positive ones were spot on. Nice diner feel, good service, and tasty food. Hot coffee, a very generous small fresh squeezed oj, and I appreciated the small option for the... More

We went based on the ratings others had given on Trip Advisor and wasn't disappointed, to say the least. We had fresh salmon and Parmesan crusted halibut; we were both very well pleased. As they brought out other orders, we could see that the portions were plentiful and very pleasing to the eye. Lots of items on the menu to... More

Really charming ambiance. Went for lunch and had an oyster poboy. It was average in every way. The bread was tasteless and the oysters bland and rubbery. We were there early for dinner so dont know if that had anything to do with it.

My sister and I went here for breakfast and ended up getting lunch since breakfast service was over. The food was outstanding, but good gracious would it kill the wait staff to smile and be friendly? Everyone looked sour and out of sorts. Our waiter rarely came to our table, and never came to refill our drinks. Too bad. This... More

Good harvest lacks in ambience but it makes up for it in a taste. It's simple food but really tasty and lots of organic choices. We had dinner and breakfast. The shrimp melt sandwich is really tasty albeit with lots of butter and cheese. Shrimp cocktail is perfectly cooked and the organic wines are really good value. Breakfast choices are... More

We ate here for dinner with a large group, mostly adults but also 2 teens. We were seated in the upstairs room, adjacent to the bar, a perfect location for our sometimes noisy group. Not only did our server handle 17 separate checks, she made sure that the team worked well together in keeping our glasses filled and our needs... More

My wife and I live in Crescent City and go to this restaurant two or three times a year. If you are in CC and want a wide variety of food choices this would be a good choice. The food is a step up from Denny's, but quality can vary. The services can be slow. Honestly, I debated between a... More
