Yummy

My husband and I always make it a point to eat at this cozy little restaurant at least two or three times each time we visit the coast. The decor is very family oriented with a lot of wood and local art, including photos of the fishing and crabbing industry so prevalent in that area. The place is... read more

You will not be disappointed. Very good service. Fair prices . the best pancakes and you can sub them for potatoes. I had ham and eggs with pancakes instead of potatoes the ham was very tender and thick not the lunch meat served elsewhere.😀😀

We were hoping for some "fresh" seafood so close to the wharf but offerings were mainly deep fried. The deep fried prawns were excellent but the cod was greasy. The portions were generous and the staff friendly. Clean and quirky atmosphere.

This was not really an impressive place as much as it was convenient to say the least. My wife and I stayed in the motel right across the Hwy so it was just a hop when we left to eat.

We had dinner here last night on our way through town. Got there at 7:30 and they close at 8.I had the snapper with baked potato, sautéed veggies (mainly zucchini with some onion and carrot) and a cup of clam chowder. A warm dinner roll came with the chowder. My wife had a shrimp melt with fries and a cold... More

Took my friend here for her birthday. It was nothing fancy to say the least, but she really enjoyed her cod fish and chips. I was impressed that the ramekins were made of plant material and compostable.

The place was decorated with typical nets & starfish and we were seated in a diner style booth. Waitress friendly & helpful. Served quickly. The clam chowder was good, with chunks of celery & potatoes and the clams were not overpowering. The beer battered fried fish was fine, crust seemed a little oily to me, but the fish inside was... By the time my wife and I got here for dinner we had drove over 5 hours from Corvallis, OR without a meal and spent time walking Stouts Grove as well. Needless to say, we were starving. The place was right across from our hotel and we were ready to eat so walked right over. We are so happy we... More

The Fish and Chips at Fisherman's is made with Cod that is caught locally and therefore extremely fresh. The fish is lightly battered so the delicate taste of the fish is able to come through. The portions were large. This was a good find for fresh fish and chips.
