We wanted to go to the other restaurant on the wharf, but thought it was too busy. We decided to try this out and found the food was good. The food was delicious and hot. We ordered the hamburger, the steak sandwich, Calimari, clam chowder, and fish and chips were done just right. The coleslaw was bland and the buns... More

We ate dinner at Fisherman's restaurant and lounge. We ordered two dishes that had shrimp which were not sufficiently large to be called tiger shrimp as on the menu. Flavor was bland. If you like fried foods, there are a number of options on the menu. Service was inattentive. Pricing is not bad. However, I would not return to this... More

The restaurant looks like your typical touristy restaurant. The food was mediocre. The fish was greasy and slimy, the dinner rolls were obviously pre-made, but the portions were generous - my husband and I split the seafood combo and it was plenty. The clam chowder didn't have a lot of clams, but tasted good. We're from Oregon and come with... More

We ate breakfast here and the wait staff were friendly and fast. The food was only OK. Nothing terrible and the prices and portion sizes were decent but somehow the pancakes were tough and rubbery. Omelet was pretty good.

Interesting experience. The waitress was a treat. They actually have smaller portions for 20% off. I was going to have the taco salad and asked if it only had lettuce, beef, and cheese...ie. no beans, avocado etc. Apparently just beef and cheese. So decided to go for one of the many choices of pasta. They didn't have any pasta. Chose... More

My wife loves seafood. She got the catfish and was not impressed. My kids loved the chicken tenders. I thought the chicken fried steak was ok. My sister's fried cod was better than average. I think they double charged us.

After a few awful dinners in Crescent city, we just wanted a good meal! Fisherman's Restaurant seems a bit run down, needs new decor...but we were very happy with the food! It was dinner and some ordered breakfast and others dinner. Huge portions and good food! We will be back!

Nothing special, nothing wrong. Prices are OK, portions are big - as a foodie, I would rather pay more for less amount and higher quality. (We had the squid appetizer, the scallops and the fried seafood combo.) Also, salt was missing everywhere, drastically (luckily they have it on the table :-). Service was OK as well, but not special.

We have been searching Crescent City for a good meal. This hit the spot . Our waitress was delightful. I would suggest the fresh fish. Our salmon was yummy . Good prices too!!

The breakfast menu variety which included fresh trout was an easy pick and tasted great. The bacon and over easy eggs was perfectly cooked.
