10 mins. from my hotel on the Kohala Coast. Food just as good, much better prices. Great service. Great kids' menu. Also have pizzas and calzones if you want something more casual. Highly recommend the risotto.

Tried Cafe Pesto based on a local's suggestion. We were not disappointed! The hostess seated us right away and server Sierra was warm and friendly. A total 180 from the snooty hostess and grumpy waiter at a King's Shops restaurant we tried the night before. Try the creamy pesto dressing on a local greens salad. We had a build your... More

A little find in a small town on the Big Island. The food was good but it is in a small strip mall with no view. The sunset was gorgeous that night and we had to keep stepping outside to see it.

This place came highly recommended by staff at the Mauna Kea where we stayed. The food was delicious. The salad with the local fish was splendid. Prices were very reasonable. We actually ended up eating here several times and even ordering take home once. This is a definite "must-try" restaurant.

Great little restaurant. The pizzas on the menu are a little out there, but you can make up your own which is what we did. Good value and quality.

On our 8-day trip to the Big Island, we visited Café Pesto on the second night. My husband had the special and I had the simple pasta dish with olives, feta, and sun dried tomatoes. Both were outstanding. Our waiter, Ira, was fantastic and recommended a local microbrew to my husband after asking about his preferences. Service was flawless, presentation... More

Cafe Pesto is an excellent restaurant. My family loves coming here for any occasion. Their food is always perfectly prepared. Their menu offers the most delicious meals and you can not go wrong no matter what you eat. I highly recommend eating here.

We just got back from the BI where we went to Cafe Pesto twice. We had to go back a second time because I wanted the pizza again. I know pizza can be a very subjective item. Some like thick some like thin etc. but the pizza I had was great. Both times. They come in 9 to 12 inch... More

I had the Hawaiian pizza (called something else on the menu) and it was great. Instead of your classic ham it had Hawaiian bbq'd pork. Possibly the best pizza on the island.

Sometimes you just need some pizza! We get take out and bring it to the beach at the Mauna Kea. We go pick it up and bring it down. It is so fun and a nice break to lounge on the beach, watch the sunset and save a bundle on another expensive meal. We love Cafe Pesto!
