My family and I enjoyed lunch at the Kona Coffeehouse and it was a great experience. We drove by it while heading south on Mamalahoa Highway after doing a tour at one of the local Kona coffee farms called Greenwell Farms (a very good place for a coffee tour). On our return northward we decided to stop. We sat in... More

I have passed by this wonderful little cafe a number of times and not stopped in before. I will make it a regular stop on my way coming and going from the south end of the island. Loved the coffee and the deserts are suburb.

After a morning spent kayaking and snorkeling in Kealakekua Bay, our terrific guide from Adventures in Paradise, recommend the Kona Coffeehouse & Cafe for brunch/lunch. Their homemade macadamia nut veggie burgers are hands down the best veggie burgers we have had anywhere. The carnivores among us raved about the burgers - the restaurant sources their beef from a ranch literally... More

Friendly welcome. We had nice brunch after Honaunau visit. Original burger with macadamia nut was very good, as well as gigantic pancakes. Excellent coffee and capucino, with on site coffee. Gréât expérience in a suite inexpected place

We had a car full of fractious and hungry kids after visiting the Place of Refuge, and this place came into view. Humble from the outside, we stopped for coffee but decided to stay for lunch, and had a totally wonderful experience. Service, food and local provenance all 5 star. Highlights: - the coffee; home grown, brewed with skill and... More

Ever heard of a REAL Big Mac? Well, this place has it. It's their Macadamia Burger. Get in your car, or get on a plane and try this. It is truly special. They also have a great variety of whatever else you might be in the mood for. Good prices, honest smiles and just down right excellent. A pleasant road-side... More

Well worth the stop. The food is amazing. The burgers are local, the Macadamia burger is not to be missed and the ahi-melt is awesome! Oh and the coffee is great! We liked it so much the first time we stumbled on it we came back the next day before snorkeling at Pu'uhonua O Honaunau Park. Highly reccomended.

With a cozy little backyard, this restaurant has all you need for a good meal; high quality ingredients, good service and beautiful flowers on the stone wall surrounding the back yard. They have a weekend brunch which we must try out.
