Well worth the stop. The food is amazing. The burgers are local, the Macadamia burger is not to be missed and the ahi-melt is awesome! Oh and the coffee is great! We liked it so much the first time we stumbled on it we came back the next day before snorkeling at Pu'uhonua O Honaunau Park. Highly reccomended.

With a cozy little backyard, this restaurant has all you need for a good meal; high quality ingredients, good service and beautiful flowers on the stone wall surrounding the back yard. They have a weekend brunch which we must try out.

This place is great. They have the ahi melt on special, but it goes quick. They also have a very unique slaw. The dessert platter, well, save some room. The flourless chocolate cake is like heaven.

We stopped at this roadside restaurant at the recommendation of a park ranger, and it was terrific. We ended up going here twice for lunch. On the first visit I ordered the Mac vege burger. I have to admit I'm not into vege burgers, at all, but this one interested me because it was freshly made and prepared at this... More

We stopped just by chance. The breakfast was delicious and the service was excellent. The coffee cake is a MUST try. It was absolutely THE BEST! So glad we stopped.

This unassuming little place looks like your typical whole-in-the-wall cafe. It is actually the original site of the Morihara Store, built in 1924. Usaku Morihara was a coffee broker, farmer and store owner. So there is some serious coffee history here! We stopped for a mid-morning cool down. Everything was freshly made and hit the spot!

This place was really good. The food was fresh and tasty and I loved the patio setting. It does close early, so if you want dinner, get there early.

After a long morning of exploring the Kona coastline, this little gem was perfect. Located at a perfect junction of 160 and 11, it was a much needed rejuvenation spot. Although lunch menu is small -approx 11 items- you will not be disappointed. Hubby had a hamburger ( was craving mainland food) and stated it was very tasty. I had... More

We stopped here first morning on island. Food was great and coffee was fantastic. We both had the French toast made with sweet bread. Could not finish as portion was large. Don't even need syrup on it. The only thing that would have been better on it was coconut syrup which we had at other place. The waitress was great...she... More

Great food, service and view. Oh and the geckos crawling on the rails are fun to watch. Fresh baked goods and the french toast is very tasty.
