Description: Abundant and beautiful California Wine Country in the Northeast Heights....
Abundant and beautiful California Wine Country in the Northeast Heights. Welcome to “Savoy”! A sun-filled, unpretentious but sophisticated, wine-friendly restaurant.

As you walk into the dramatic high-ceiling entryway, you are moved in all directions. To the East you have a frosted view of the tasting room, loaded with fresh flowers and walls of glass-encased wine. To the West you get a glimpse of the lounge bar leading to the vine-covered patio.

Light, open and airy with butter-colored walls, dark wood and black & white photography of wine country all come together to create an elegant yet surprisingly comfortable atmosphere in the main dining room. The dark and contemporary edge to the room is offset during the day with an abundance of natural light from large windows and three strategically placed skylights. That oven will be our culinary focal point for the exhibition kitchen, where our guests will see and smell the citrus roasted duckling, the roasted platter of shellfish

Good food, comfortable ambiance, but...

The food has been well prepared each time I've visited this restaurant and the ambiance is relaxing, but things tend to go downhill from there. This restaurant gives the appearance of being upscale, and it really is, but you're going to pay for it. Also, the service has a tendency to be a bit... read more

going to happy hour is the best thing at savoys, great food, burgers and steak sandwich for 7 bucks, beer specials, hours between 3-6 , best happy hour food in town.

Menu with unique items, daily specials, full bar, good for lunch or dinner. The food has been predictably good.

Good choice for a special meal. Pricey for Albuquerque, but consistently well prepared with good choices of meats, fish and poultry. Unusual specials, like elk, are sometimes available. Nice service, good food in a nice setting. Has an outdoor seating area as well.

We were celebrating our closely spaced birthdays. They put us in an alcove-type room with a fireplace and only a few other tables in it, which would have been lovely except for the group of nine women who were loudly celebrating something. Our waiter did offer to move us, but we liked the table and the fireplace, so we stayed.... More

I went here with my daughter to celebrate her birthday. She had lamb roast and I had Ahi tuna. Service was exceptional. The food was very tasty and attractively presented. These atmosphere is comfortable and the wine list is extensive. I would put this on a short list with the best places in Albuquerque.

Seafood trio was great, wine is excellent. Quiet evening on last visit. Happy Hours and Music extremely popular in the spring & summer. Happy hour specials on food and wine are great. Have been going to this restaurant almost since it opened and it is still my go to restaurant.

My wife and I had the pleasure of dining at SAVOY BAR & GRILL (in North East Albuquerque 87111) yesterday, and it was an absolutely delightful experience! We started with sharing the Peppercorn Crusted Ahi Tuna appetizer; the melt-in-your-mouth Ahi tuna was deliciously coated with black and white sesame seeds over a spicy romaine-arugula salad and wasabi-aioli sauce. Then we... More

Every time we visit Albuquerque we go up to the Savoy Grill. It used to be in our neighborhood and we frequented it as locals. Now that we live away, we still trek up to the Savoy Grill even though we stay downtown. It's a good one.

Excellent food, excellent ambiance, mostly excellent service! Great appetizers, fantastic steaks. My absolute favorite dishes are their lunch fish offerings - they're always perfectly cooked and seasoned. Every single one of their desserts are worth trying as well. My favorite is The Queen Bee, which is a honey mousse, with shortbread and a boozy butterscotch concoction. That said, I feel... More
