Amazing food and atmosphere

My husband and I came here for dinner and really enjoyed it. My husband had the fish and chips which was amazing and I had the bangers and mash which was really good. Be prepared to wait because it is a local favorite, but it is well worth the wait!

Two Fools Tavern in Albuquerque is a true gastro pub right here in America. What a wonderful meal! We started with the Galway Bay Smoked Salmon Plate and it was delicious. The salmon tasted as if it were caught that day; tender with only a hint of smoke and absolutely no ‘fishiness.’ The bread served with this appetizer was just... More

I love Irish Pubs. Smithwicks, Speckled Hen, Guiness, Scotch Eggs, Shepards Pie, mmmm my favorite things when done right. I HATE it when a place bills itself as an irish pub and then serves crappy frozen food and cant pull a proper pint! Two Fools is the real deal. The Shepards pie is awesome and the Scotch Eggs were the... More

I have visited Two Fools twice. Both visits were great. The green chilie pot pie and Guinness beef stew were some of the best pub fare I have had. Great service and a great value. Would highly recommend it.

Excellent food, great service-even during happy hour. Irish nachos are not to be missed. Enough variety in the menu to satisfy even picky eaters.

Great food and atmosphere! Came on a rainy Wednesday night around 7pm, the day after St. Patrick's Day. Saw people waiting outside for a table and was about to leave but glad we stayed. We ended up being 3rd in line after other parties left. We were carded prior to getting a table. I've never had boxty before and decided... More

Looks real nice the outside so we went in for a drink, decor is typical of a "Irish" bar quite comfortable and cosy. The problem arose when after 4 drinks we decided to eat here as well as it was freezing outside and my Dad doesn't walk very well after having a stroke and the option of walking around looking for a... Since my son and I visited Ireland, I love to find Irish Pubs. Two Fools was great! Dark wood, stained glass and the staff was outstanding! I had the Blarney and Blue burger and it was super…little tough bottom bun, but loved every bite. As luck would have it – no Irish, he was Scottish – a representative with Glenfiddich... More

What a great Irish pub in a trendy ABQ neighborhood. The food is a hit. The service is friendly and the drinks are not underpoured. It is a little noisy, but that is because it is so popular. Avoid the chain restaurants that dominate ABQ and go to Two Fools.

The Cottage Pie was great, but everything else was nothing better than average. The pastrami was VERY disappointing--nothing like the deli-fare we expected. In fact, the flavor and texture was more like dry, "mystery meat". They offer gluten-free bread, but rolls or toasted bread would be better for sandwiches since gluten-free breads will tend to break apart if not toasted.... More
