Warm Meal, Cozy Fire

It was a cold night in January. After watching a movie at the Guild Theater, four of us walked the couple blocks to the Two Fools. There was just a short wait for a table. When our turn came we lucked out with the table right in front of the fire; much to my wife's delight. She doesn't do cold... read more

Eat here first!!!! If your only here for a day on business this is the place!! I don't know where to begin. Everything on the menu is amazing but the stand out are the fish and chips and the book maker sandwich. They have a green chile chicken pot pie that is absolutely amazing. I say go and try it... The f&c's was really excellent along with the apple cole slaw accompanying. Light crispy batter and the fish was cooked just right. The guiness beef stew was also excellent. Just a shade under phantom ranch stew which is the best in the world. Service was quick and cheerful and definitely the Irish atmosphere. In the trendy nob hill area with... More

This is a great find. Best fish and chips outside the UK. Service is fast and selections great. I recommend the fish and chips.

A friend staying in the Nob Hill area took a group of us to this Irish pub on Central west of Wellesley. I liked everything about it--inside was warm and Irish-y, the service was great, there's drink specials every day. But of course the food makes or breaks a place, and the food here was so delish! I ordered the... More

A bar with very excellent food! Shepherd's pie was so good with creamy mashed potatoes and a hearty filling. Drinks were mixed well and we all had a great time! I'll be going back next time in town for sure!

On an overnight stop we wanted to try a restaurant/brewery for dinner. We found Two Fools Tavern on Central Ave in Nob Hill. Great atmosphere and wonderful food. We both had the Two Fools Pale Ale the my husband went for a second beer and had 90 Shilling by O'Dell Brewing in Ft. Collins. The beer selection on draft was... More

Had fun. Drinks were good and prices were good as well. It was a little cold outside but the lit up fireplace made it really nice.

This place has been around for quite awhile and simply enjoy visiting this place. Granted it can get a little tight to walk around in, but the food and drinks are excellent. I have some Irish nachos and a quesadilla and they were excellent. I would recommend if you are tall to sit at a high table and not one... More

Having enjoyed pubs in Ireland, I was looking forward to eating at Two Fools and I was not disappointed. The atmosphere is that of an old Irish pub and the menu is varied. If you like Irish food, they have it; or if you are into only American, you'll be happy. Expect it to be busy.
