Outstanding Red Chile and Tortillas

I went to Duran's Station for the first time and had their combo plate with a relleno, beef taco, and cheese enchilada. I went for the red chile as I've heard of its greatness. I also ordered one of their famous buttered tortillas. Everything was wonderful. The service was great, prices were fine... read more

As a native of northern New Mexico I can honestly say I was disappointed in their Red Chile that tasted nothing like the Chile Colorado (red) I was brought up on. I'm 68 years old and have eaten Chile since I was 3 years old, so I know what good Chile should taste like. Probably had sjomeone like Anthony Bourdain... More

Bowl of red chile was awesome. Add potatoes for a little extra. Beef n cheddar on a tortilla w/ green chile and tomato was excellant. Cheese enchiladas w/ red and an egg on top can't be beat. Highly recommend. Gets very crowded at noon so arrive early.

We were looking on Trip Advisor for a good place to eat and saw the great reviews so we went here. The atmosphere was great, food was great and loved the classic rock music they play. Sam was our server and he was great. Next time we are in town you can bet we will go here. Thanks!!!

I have been eating here for years. My favorite is the huevos rancheros with carne adovada and their homemade tortillas.

I am so tired of these places, such as this! So called Mexican food is not expensive, especially the kind they fix. The beans have no flavor and not cooked. The meat in the tacos taste chancy. A simple meal and we could not finish it. They are noted for their tortillas, but they do not come with a meal,... More

The food can be spicy. Green or red Chile with everything. We asked for a sample of the Chile. They were happy to provide some. The imported beer is $4.75 $3.75 domestic. All meals are abt $10. Food is real good. Had the green chili stew with cheese. Mm mm delicious

When we visited Albuquerque last year, Duran Station was recommended to us. We did not bet there before we left town, so we made a point to get there this year. We visited on a Saturday night when they were pretty busy, but did not have to wait for a table. Like so many places, they start you out with... More

While visiting ABQ I met a local couple and asked them for recommendations on the best New Mexican food. They both agreed that for quality that this was one of their two top favorites (the other is Padilla's). I hit them them both and they were beyond expectations. Fresh, delicious, and homemade. I will definitely be back when I visit... More

Hard to find this place as the sign is low behind some bushes and there is no signage on the building. Recommended for its New Mexico style menu. A small restaurant in a former fire station is has a very local ambience. The food, however, is excellent and affordable. Beer and wine only.
