I am from the Pacific Northwest and have grown accustomed to delicious fresh sushi. Visiting in ABQ and craving struck decided to test my luck for lunch at Azuma. I sat at the sushi bar. The sushi chef was most entertaining, witty, charming and funny. I ordered sashimi and was pleasantly surprised by the portion but more importantly the freshness.... More

We eat at Azuma Teppan on our mini vacation. My wife has a shrimp allergy, and the chef cooked hers first, so not to mix anything. The food was outstanding. The cost was ok (not cheap, but never is). It is one of the best hibachi's we have been to. YUM YUM.

I have been to many Teppan grills before- this rates poorly compared to what I have come to expect. Soup was served cold. One of our party had a shrimp allergy and chef made NO effort to accomodate by keeping the shrimp away from her food. The staff were not very friendly, the chef made no effort to entertain. He... Went expecting a fun hibachi experience. It was overpriced for what we got. Unimpressed with the chef. Had children at the table and he must have had a horrible day he did no extra stuff and not even any fun. Bad attitude and just get job done feel. Next hibachi will look elsewhere

Lunch today was just average and we had hoped for better. The inside is nice and it's clean. Service was good. Food was a disappointment since it was rather on the bland side and portions on the small side. My wife ordered a steak teppan meal and she had every expectation to believe that she was going to get a... More

Always a tasty experience. Long wait so go early or be prepared to wait, especially on the weekends. Lunch is less expensive and has shorter wait times. The cooks are always very considerate of my shellfish allergy- I tell the server then the cook and it's no problem

It was so fun to watch the action at the Teppan. Food cooked right before your eyes and very fresh sea food. Vegetables, fried rice, soup, salad and then chicken and shrimp. Went to the restaurant at lunch and had more food than I could eat. It was the best and I would definitely go back. Service was great too.

I visited recently with my daughter and family. The location is convenient and ambience pleasant. The food was good but the sake choices were somewhat limited. I would definitely return.

I been wanting to go here for a long time. So my spontaneous fiance decided to take me here during my lunch time. Sushi was so good and he loved how fresh off the grill the food was. It was his first Teppan Grill experience, he was very impressed by the food and cooking. The cooks are exceptionally good and... More

After waiting for a long period of time, we were finally seated. The chef from another table was preparing for another table. The ventilation was so bad, I had to step outside to breath. The wait for our chef was long. Salad was a mixture of salad dressing and water. Rice was excellent. The waitress included her 15% tip on... More
