At $30 a plate, I was expecting better. The Seabass was crunchy which was different, but I liked it. The wine selection on the other hand was exquisite! If anything, just go here for the wine. They have wine cellar (bar) which I didn't get to visit this time but will try next time I go to Albuquerque. Dessert was... More

In town for business, Wednesday night and Zinc was recommended to us for dinner. Promptly seated and drink orders taken. Varied menu although not moderately deep. Good variety of starters and we had a a fresh salad and delicious Manhattan seafood chowder. Wait staff was very attentive through out taking our dinner orders. Red trout was excellent but served room... More

I like New Mexican food quite a lot, but after a few days I want to get some variety. We were a group of 12 and relatively late on a Sunday evening we called Zinc to see if they would take us. Not only did they take us, but they put us in a quiet area on the balcony, overlooking... More

Arrived right after opening, were seated and supplied with fresh, warm bread and butter and drinks immediately. While our waiter was new (started 3 months ago), he was knowledgable about the wines and menu. Unfortunately, my wife can't handle spicy foods and we had to switch plates halfway thru the meal. She had the quail with wild rice that was... More

Zinc is a lively Bistro near the University district. The restaurant has a small dining area and an upstairs loft where we enjoyed watching the Chefs busily at work in their open kitchen. We were promptly greeted and escorted to our table, and the server arrived immediately with a bottle of water. They have a nicely varied wine selection to... More

We went recently with a party of about 10 and I have to say that I was kind of dissatisfied. The place is very nice, but the prices or in the high range (especially for Albuquerque). The food was average, with not a lot of the taste you would expect based on the menu descriptions. The service was neither good... More

Went here with a group of about 20. While staff was nice and food was decent, I did better the next night with a picnic from Whole Foods. Server forgot my wine, forgot my dinner order entirely and food was really bland with the exception of a killer romanesco sauce. ? Off night.

Despite the link here on trip advisor for a reservation through own table, it is only valid at the upstairs expensive restaurant. Be ready to fight for a table The wine cellar is awesome, with live music Tues, Thurs, and sat pm. Sometimes it can get a little loud. The mixed duo is a fantastic dish with large, well flavored... Went here before going to see Wicked the other night. Not only did they make sure to get us out in time, but it was the best meal both of us have had in ages. Perfectly cooked. There were a couple of vegetarian options, but not much. My partner said that the meat was local.
