Best steak in Albuquerque!

Dined there recently for the first time in several years. I don't know why I've wasted my time and money going to Vernon's instead. Yes, the atmosphere is a bit old fashion, but I think that is part of the charm. The service is outstanding! I wish I could remember our main waiter's name because... read more

Thank you for your review. Our steaks are wonderful but the Strawberry is my favorite of the Flames. It is something that I came up with for my father on his birthday about 20 years ago. He still orders it to this day. Hopefully this will be your favorite and regular dessert when you return. Again Thank you More

I was in town for business and went to Ranchers on a Thursday night. Took a seat at the bar. I was immediately attended to by Alex. He was the highlight of the evening. Took my drink order right away and made a good Manhattan. Then came book to take my dinner order. I indicated I wasn't in a hurry... More

gondekp Thanks for your review. I am sorry that you felt the steak was not up to par. I am glad that Alex did the correct thing in changing the price as compensation. Please let me know the next time you are in town so we can try and make it up to you. Again thank you More

I don't get a chance to eat here as much as I like to but I did get to come last weekend. The food never gets old for me. The steak is very delicious. The wait staff is very nice and helpful. The piano bar is always really classy and the bartenders are complete professionals.

Thank you for your review. We pride ourselves on our steaks. The wood grill that we use should be the only way to cook a great steak. Again Thank you More

About twelve of us visited for an after business meeting group dinner. There were lots of great menu items. I had the Hunter's Trio for $45. (I can't find it on the online menu, so maybe I have the name wrong). It was slightly spicey sausage, venison and elk, fingerling potatoes and asparagus. Servers were very attentive. Everyone was happy... More

We were staying at the Crowne Plaza and the incredible music in the lounge drew us inside. Our 3 year old son loves music and instruments and the Jazz trio was incredible! They even played our son's request!! We were also super impressed that the singer walked around and sat with the various customers. They were interactive and we could... More

Now this place is first class. The Ranchers Club is an old school steak house. The lounge is great and the food and service at second to none.

We have been to this establishment many times. We were surprised to have a meal that was so below par. We had prime rib and antelope both were low on the taste spectrum little flavor for both of those meals. The best part was the asperagras with Bernaise sauce. For better or worse the decor has not changed in a... More

After reading some positive reviews, we decided to try The Ranchers Club for our anniversary. Atmosphere was nice and wait staff was courteous, but food was marginal at best. I ordered a $48 Kansas City New York Strip, which was marginal at best with quite a bit of gristle. The appetizer of broccoli soup was also forgettable. My wife!s Alaskan... More

It's been a long time since the last visit to The Rancher's Club. The ambiance is terrific, out of the ordinary to be sure. It is comfortable through and through. Perhaps it was because it was the eve of the New Year, but the engine didn't seem to be operating on all cylinders during this visit. We bellied up to... More
