Scarpa's is either an upscale pizza parlor or a low-end Italian restaurant. But they're not schizophrenic about their pricing; it's way too high for what is offered.

Visiting Albuquerque for business and my wife and I were in the mood for pizza but didn't want chain pizza. Looked on TA for pizza places in Albuquerque and it seemed like a lot of the recommended ones were down by the University but we didn't want to travel down there and fight for limited parking. After reading review we... More

We visited Scarpas for dinner on a weeknight. We were seated and the first thing we noticed was that the chair seat cushions were so worn that we sank almost all of the way through (and we are not over-weight). We then looked over the menu and noticed that lasgna was not included which is unusual for an Italian restaurant.... More

We were 3 people who wanted pizza. Scarpas was close to our hotel so we stopped in. We ordered a full size salad and it was huge and very good. We also ordered our pizza to share and it was a 10 inch pizza ( I didn't realize how small 10 inches were), but the pizza had a really good... More

This is my second visit and again I was pleased with food and surroundings. Generous salads and pizza to share. Entrees plentiful also. Fair selection of beers. Casual atmosphere, don't need to dress up. Available easy parking and because they weren't super crowded, we sat and weren't rushed to leave.

I stopped by Scarpas for lunch today, as I had not been there in a couple of years. To start with, the host seating me was very friendly and welcoming (good traits for a person in that position!). Observing the diners seated nearby I thought everything they were eating looked delicious and well, huge. I thought of ordering a half-order... More

If your looking for a great bowl of pasta (hard to find these days) try Scarpas. If you like spicy go for the Red Chili Cream Pasta. So good I have hard time ordering anythung else!!! The pizzas are all wood fired pizza and have very unique toppings like chicken enchilada and green chili cheeseburger along with traditional pepperoni. Many... More

We loved our recent dinner at the Academy Road Scarpas. The service could not have been more attentive, helpful and responsive. I had the shrimp pasta and it was fresh and delicious. You don't want to miss the torte dessert! Laurie & Del from Fort Collins, CO

Scarpas has become a favorite spot for my wife and I. Recently we had the opportunity to go to dinner with our daughter and her 2 girls as well. All were well pleased with their choices, including a nice selection of "kids" meals. I repeated an order of green chile chicken alfredo, which was marvelous as always. My wife selected... More

While returning home from our vacation in the Denver/Boulder area, we spent the night in Albuquerque and decided to go to Scarpa's Pizza -- which we've enjoyed in the past, but had not eaten at in more than three years. We found that the menu had changed and now had many pizza offerings we were not familiar with. So we... More
