Over priced

I can't lie the food was pretty good. Although for a gringo the red chili was a bit to hot.The sopa's were the best I have ever had and that was a problem cuz. Between ten dollars for kids lemonade and a dollar a piece extra for sopa's bill added up quickly.

They accommodated our 3, excited grandchildren and 4 adults with gracious, humorous open arms. The red and green chile is exquisite. Chile Renos, Breakfast Burritos, children's chicken strip meals all prepared promptly, hot and delicious! The restaurant is a beautiful, Northern New Mexico treasure with gardens, fountains and Spanish Charm! Definitely our favorite.

Have a margarita out on their beautiful patio. Listen to the waterfall. Admire the plants. So nice. Food is OK but nothing special, but after a few margaritas who cares?

As far as Mexican goes in Albuquerque, I would say that this place is on the top five for great food!

Terrific ambiance and very good Mexican food in the old part of Albuquerque. Live guitar music at dinner and friendly service.

Decor, food, and staff were all very good. This restaurant was chosen for us by a friend, who lives in Albuquerque. She has brought out of town guests there before. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

We had a group of 50 that I arranged to take there for dinner. The food was excellent for the price. It was a great value. The service was outstanding! I could not beleive how seamlessly they handled our group. It was unbelievable the service we received. The entire staff was friendly and went out of their way to make... More

Did wine tasting at Gruet Winery and hostess suggested Casa de Benavidez for dinner. Excellent choice. the queso dip was great and hot. The patio was very pleasant and the waitress was friendly. We had a great time and would definitely come again.

For the second year we dined at Casa de Benavidez while attending AIBF. We enjoyed very much our last year dinner so we decided to make a return visit. Even though it is a large restaurant it is very busy and only takes reservations for large parties. Therefore, we waited for about fifteen minutes; a shorter people than what we... More

This was a great restaurant for authentic New Mexican food. Our relatives recommended it, and they certainly did not steer us in the wrong direction. We went there for dinner on a Friday night, and it was packed so we had to wait awhile at the bar, but the food was definitely worth the wait. We ordered a sampler platter... More
