We stopped here for breakfast on our way out of town. Needing provisions as well, we liked the combination of drug store/cafe. Our impression of the cafe: clean, friendly, authentic, big portions, casual. After snooping around the pharmacy, we entered the cafe part, and sat at the counter. This place has a long history and this was our first visit for lunch. Special was 3 chicken enchiladas for a somewhat expensive almost $10--tasty but smothered in cheese. Best was a delicious, large buttered tortilla. Pie for dessert was fair and certainly not home made. In this area with so many options, there are better places to eat. more

The little cafe in the back of Duran's Pharmacy on Central Ave., has proven to be a favorite with it's regulars for many years.
