Great service at this little restaurant tucked inside a pharmacy. The waitresses were very attentive and friendly. I had an adovado/potato breakfast burrito with green chili. It was really great. I would go back just because of the service. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a good breakfast/lunch place as their hours are limited.

I ate here the other day for lunch and really enjoyed my meal of a tamale with red chile and a side of beans. The food is freshly made there on the premises. The pork in my tamale was very flavorful, lean and tender. The side of beans was tasty. The homemade desserts looked delicious! This place seems to be... More

We were a bit confused at first when attempting to find the cafe (it is in the back area of the pharmacy). The food here is solid, very tasty, and the wait staff were fast and efficient.

Located in Duran's Pharmacy, this little restaurant is a great place to eat. The food is fresh and the homemade tortillas with or without butter are to die for!!!! The red chile is awesome and the Huevos Rancheros are your best bet as the plate is priced the best. Watch out for the daily specials listed on the dry erase... More

You might miss this place unless you are looking for Duran's Pharmacy! Walk through the drugstore to the small restaurant- several '50s kitchenette style tables and red vinyl stools at the counter...a lady making tortillas behind that counter. Red or green chili? Just chose Christmas (both). Friendly service, reasonable prices and good New Mexican style fare with a fun but... More

Saw this restaurant on food TV show. Donna was our server and had also been featured on the show. She is a HOOT!!!!! Food was excellent - hubby had the green chili bowl and loved it! Excellent find. Super friendly and its a place where the locals go....that is a good sign!!!!! As far as the controversy over red or... More

Wonderful southwestern fare. Chicken enchilladas were on special. The tortilla's are hand made and delicious. We liked it so much, we went back on our way to the airport.

"Flavor" both in food and atmosphere! The kind of place where locals come regularly, and where the staff gets to know your name. Tortillas made freshly in front of you are as good as any I've ever had, and the chili dishes are very flavorful. Moderate pricing, but sometimes a little slow getting your coffee cup filled if there are... More

Located right on Route 66 (Central Avenue) near Old Town in Albuquerque, NM, this very come-as-you-are restaurant was recommended to us by locals. They have awesome guacamole and chips for an appetizer, and excellent chicken enchiladas and red or green chili. The service was excellent, and I believe it is run by a family. It is a very quaint restaurant,... More

I have eaten here three times since I moved to Albuquerque in December. Wanting to discover what all of the fuss was about, I sampled different items on each visit. It was highly recommended by my sister who loves it – granted she was only a tourist. My first visit I had chips with guacamole and a non meat dish... More
