Great, classic Burger and Malt Shop

We stopped in for a late lunch and ordered a variety of burgers and sweet potato fries. I ordered the very hot (spicy) green chile burger and it was fantastic (and did I mention VERY hot?). The fries were good (a bit greasy) and for dessert we ordered a shake and a malt. They were... read more

We've been here plenty of times. A theme that we notice are that you don't want to sit up front with the juke box and hop scotch in the floor tiles. Parents who have no apparent control over their kids will allow them to bang on the juke box buttons and pay hop scotch a few feet from you while... More

Let's start with the bad. Very bad service it was extremely slow. The waitress could not even repeat the order correctly. Eight of us ordered a good amount of food. An hour and a half later we were served. The salmon chowder was nasty, the corn chowder, extremely salty. Stay away from the Kansas City, dry, dry like saw dust.... More

This was by far the WORST service & food my friends have experienced in the ABQ area! Not only was the manager/owner a complete unprofessional, uneducated, and totally non customer service oriented he was disrespectful to my party even after an hour and a half wait for our food! Never will return

Albeit, a great theme with the atmosphere to boot, the amount of money I spent made me rethink shopping and cooking for myself. This is just a burger joint without any frills. When you buy a burger, that's what you get. All of their burgers will get you a bun with a meat patty, lettuce, pickle, tomato and onions, but... More

Can't say enough. Light lunches, such as Chicken Salad just like your mom made. Milk Shakes to knock your socks off. Hamburgers and yes some with Green Chile just like the 66 fries with con queso and green chiles. Chicken Fried Steak hand bread just like I used to get in Houston Texas, yum.

We've visited various Route 66 diners on our travels but this was my favourite. For me, it was like stepping back into Happy Days. The decor interested me: from Marilyn to the Rat Pack. The music complemented the atmosphere really well. After a long, stressful road trip, I suddenly felt relaxed. Our incredibly friendly waitress added to our experience. The... More

Do not confuse this place with the 66 Diner, which most people are confusing it with in the reviews. This place might have really good food, I wouldn't know. Why? We stopped at lunch hour to grab a bite, we really only had an hour to eat before we had to go back to work. We ordered and our waitress,... More

Stopped here for a Green Chili Cheeseburger and Pumpkin Shake, and they were great. The place is true nostalgia, and I felt like I stepped back into the 1950's, even though I am not that old. The food was great, and staff was friendly. Thanks to our Waitress named "Little Teapot" for making our visit enjoyable. Bring your camera, as... More
