While in abq we were looking for a pizza place, we check tripadvisor so choose Giovanni pizza because the 4stars... How sad, we arrived to this little comercial plaza, very ugly one. We went in anyway. You can see the glorious 90' on the memorabilia wall, definitely gone by now... You can see on the photos prosciutto, ricotta, etc on... More

We decided to drive into Albuquerque and try their pizza based on the reviews. What a disappointment! We got a Sicilian Supreme pizza. Lots of cheese, pepperoni and sausage, however, the crust (too thick) and tomato sauce were bland. We were not impressed, especially for the price we paid for this pizza. Good customer service but the pizza was average.... More

There is nothing special about this pizza joint! The Sicilian pizza is overpriced, and crust is an overrated adaptation of what a true Sicilian pizza should taste. The cheese and sauces are average. The Spinach, and Pesto were too salty. My overall assessment is below average!

Stopped here this afternoon, kind of by accident, although I had read a bag of mixed reviews about the place and had been intending to locate it and to try it out. Zagat highly recommends it. They really do have the best pizza I've had in abq. Authentic New York style pizza, the best I've had since in New York.... More

Thank you Giovanni's Pizza! I am a New Yorker who has been living outside NY since 1997. I bumped into your restaurant trying to find Kirtland AFB, and I was so happy that I did. Pizza by the slice that is thin enough to fold and eat pizza the way that you should. You did it! Real NY pizza in... More

While visiting family, we decided to have pizza. They usually go to one of the local chain pizza places. I picked Giovanni's based on tripadvisor reviews. Wow. We had 2 large sausage, beef, onion & mushroom thin crust. Everyone said it was an excellent pizza. Crust was fresh and not chewy. Not too much sauce, and it was fresh tasting. The... More

Ive grown up eating giovanni's my entire life having gone to school right across the street since PreK. They make my all time ever favorite pizza! Their manicotti is also amazing! I still have to eat here at least once a week no matter what. A family favorite forever and always! Everyone who works there is also amazing. They never... More

First off I have been going to Giovanni's for many years but it has become very inconsistent and truthfully not very good. On a recent visit I was told buy a worker that the calzone was supposed to be burned on the bottom and top with severe dough blistering. A moderate char is acceptable but burn is not. Well he...
