Fantastic!

Genuine New Mexican food! This place is small but they are so fast. Our food came out piping hot and the red and green chili was tasty and just spicy enough. Can't wait to go back for lunch because the breakfast was soooooo good! Great customer service to top off the awesome food too :)

Perea's was the first place we went after I arrived to visit my daughter early in the morning. Huevos rancheros with carne adovada! Still has the best carne adovada I've had. Big flavorful chunks of tender spicy meat. Ate there two more times during my visit.

Enchiladas are one of my favorite comfort foods. Being a Texan, I had long been content to assert the superiority of rolled enchiladas, filled and covered. Perea's has shattered this misconception and led me to the understanding that stacked enchiladas con huevos are the ultimate enchilada experience. Perea's does both red and green chile. Each order comes with a massive,... More

Yes this place is a hole in the wall with not much for ambiance, but the food is amazing and will please I think the most hard core of critics. I had the chicken burrito with red enchilada sauce. The chicken was tender with that melt in your mouth juiciness and incredibly well seasoned. The enchilada sauce was of course... More

Small, family run business. Excellent service, amazing food and reasonable prices. Had the best huevos rancheros I've ever had. Highly recommended.

So, I have to start this review by saying that I am not a connoisseur of New Mexico style green chile. I live in Pueblo, CO where the green chile is more gravy-like because it is roux-based. This is what I am accustomed to, but I am branching out and Perea's was recommended, so I thought I'd give it a... More

About 10-15. Mins from downtown but worth the drive and it's all freeway anyway so its quick. Perea's is as local as it gets. It's just a little cafe but spotless and family run. The granddaughter was at the cash register and grandma was serving food. The food is classic New Mexican and southwestern. Really good Hueavos Rancheros, and super... More

This was my first experience with an authentic New Mexican breakfast. What a treat it was. This place deserves all the rave reviews. Totally unpretentious with such attentive service, I loved every bite of my eggs, has browns and chile (as a first time visitor, I had to try both the green and red). Oh to have a place even... The huevos rancheros are just perfect! The hash browns and whole beans are piled on corn tortillas, then topped with eggs and the whole deal smothered with really, really good green chili and cheese. I guarantee you'll like them if you,re not a misplaced Gringo.
