I went to the one on Central Avenue near Tulane. The selection is broad, and my friend and I shared a white pizza. It was one of the best pizzas I've had in a long while: fresh ingredients with fresh flavors, not overly doughy crust. The service was friendly and very efficient. Nice, relaxed atmosphere -- and right next door... More

I was going to the movie next door, so just dropped in for the first time. Had a great chicken salad. Service was average, personnel very nice, surroundings lovely. The orders people were receiving around me (pizza, sandwiches, etc.) looked wonderful. Very tasty.

I'm a monster fan of the CO Springs Il Vicino. Albuquerque wasn't as good on a couple of counts. The service at the counter was friendly and good, but our waiter was a little clueless. He didn't check in to see how the food was, and to be honest he just seemed a little spacy. The pizza crust wasn't as... More

My wife and I ate dinner here. Excellent pizza. Soup and salad was very fresh and tasty. Very reasonably priced. Servers and staff were quick and friendly. Not a cozy, romantic Italian restaurant but the food was worth it. Would eat here again.

Excellent wood-fired pizza at a reasonable price. Three of us ate, with drinks, for just over $35. Would return in the future if in the area. Staff was very attentive as well. Nice spot on old Route 66.

a small place with great wood-fired oven baked pizza. Good selection of microbrewery offerings and good salad (add cheese to the salad). Not too expensive and that pizza makes it worth a trip - go early when it's not too crowded

See the title - this place had the best pizza that I have eaten in recent memory. The guy taking our order was really nice and helpful. We had never been here before so we asked for recommendations. A waitress overheard and recommended the #8 Angeli pizza, which sounded great so we went with that. The beer selection was just... More

We visited Il Vicino's Montgomery location after driving past many times, and reading online about California Culinary Academy-trained chef Tom White. Our expectations were understandably high. My wife had found Il Vicino listed on bringfido.com. So we brought our two obedience-trained dogs, expecting patio seating for all of us. On arrival, we discovered the owner doesn't permit dogs on the... More

The crust on many calzones is too thick and not very tasty. The vegetable calzones here have an almost pie-like crust and the a nice mixture of fillings. We shared a spinach salad which was nicely dressed with a pesto dressing. The interior is no-frills, but very bright, sunny, and welcoming.
