We love Sadie's!! My family has been here many times before and we bring our out of town guests here if they want a taste of authentic New Mexico... I have never written a review about Sadie's but after our meal today, I thought I would write to let you know that the word that best describes this restaurant is... More

Thanks to Fodor's we arrived here when our GPS couldn't find Harvard Street, the home of our first choice, and were glad we picked this place. Service was great, the margaritas large and well made, and the enchiladas with all the fixin's among the best we've had. A story on the wall told the tale of the rags to "riches"... More

Just visited Sadie's after a beautiful day in Albuquerque and a trip up the Sandia Peak tram. Had the best enchiladas ever, and at a very reasonable price. Service was great too. The wife loved the margarita, and the complimentary nachos and salsa were excellent.

This place fills you up and then you have more to take home. This is chili season for New Mexico so the salsa was fresh and hot. Was not sure i would like pappas with my mexican food, but it was soo good. Definitely will come again when visiting our family in Albuquerque.

. . .this is the place! Thanks to Larry at the Hampton Inn who immediately suggested Sadie's when I said I wanted something local and quintessentially Albuquerque. An easy drive from the hotels just off the interstate, Sadie's sits back from the street in regal presence. Casual with that comfortable local vibe Sadie's isn't out to impress anyone, she just... The service was excellent and the prices were really reasonable. We tried a burrito and the chile rellenos. I am so glad we got the sauce on the side. The food was OK - just too hot for our taste buds.

What can I say, if you want southwestern food with good chile eat here. The locals pack this place nightly. Even the house margaritas are good. Make sure not to order any of the meals large. A small is more than any one person can normally eat and a large is double. Enjoy the red chile, that is my favorite.

Sadies is always busy so we chose to sit in the bar for immediate seating. Server was right there to take orders and the food was served promptly. Food was very good, very spicy.
