Great place for our anniversary

We celebrated our 55th wedding anniversary with dinner at the Antiquities. We split oysters on the half shell. Delicious! They get them 3 days a week from Washington state. My wife had the salmon and I had a filet. Both were done perfectly. Was too full for desert.

There is a special ambiance as enter the restaurant near the Old Town Square. You seem to step back in time. The food is fantastic. I recommend the steaks or Mexican food.

When asked by a friend where the best place for an anniversary dinner in Albuquerque was, I looked at reviews and saw that Antiquity was among the highest rated so I recommended it without ever having been there myself. Well now I can speak from experience and say this is by far the best place in Albuquerque for a romantic... More

We were looking for a place to eat a special dinner. Found this on TripAdvisor. Know this is expensive. The meal and wine were outstanding. The appetizer was the escargot, first time for me. Nothing to be afraid of. We had the Henry IV and the special Chilean Sea Bass. Had the dessert sampler to finish the meal. The best... More

Best meal I have had in ABQ. We had been here years ago and don't know why we hadn't been back sooner. They were hitting on all cylinders even though a Tues night vs w/e. I love the quiet seating. So nice to be able to hear your table mate and have a conversation. So many new restaurants seem to... More

I ate here again last night, and it's still good. I like their warm bread and the warm hospitality, and their soup. I got a Chateaubriand to split with one of my friends, and it was very good. Nice and tender, with a good au jus. I also liked the potatoes that came with it. I said it before, I'll... More

Antiquity is unique in Albuquerque. It's an old fashioned, high quality, romantic, catacombed establishment that reminds me of New Orleans. Even its location in Old Town looks like the Quarter. Tables are relatively private. I say relatively because even though we sat in a corner partitioned booth for two, we could see and hear a larger table adjacent to us.... More

I have now been to Antiquity at least 10 times. My wife and I have made it a standard for anniversaries and birthdays, as each time we go it is consistently excellent. They have some of the best soups I have ever eaten. Even when a soup seems like it would be odd (most recently I had cream of red... More

I have been going to this restaurant since the early 70's. The menu hasn't changed substantially but always excels with great specials. The owner Steve will make everyone feel welcome.

This restaurant has fantastic food. The feel is very intimate and romantic with an old world charm. I highly recommend it for any couple celebrating a special event.
