We had the pleasure of eating at El Sabor De Juarez on Gibson Blvd in Albuquerque New Mex. this January of 2015 after being recommended by our desk clerk at our hotel. It is a tiny hideaway a person might pass unnoticed, but the food prepared inside will make you take notice. Excellent dinners with all the Mexican favorites. The... More

Tucked incongruously next to a pawn shop across from Kirtland Air Force Base, this hole-in-the-wall serves authentic norteno (northern Mexican) food at reasonable prices. We especially like the enchiladas, but everything we've had there has been good. On the numerous times we've been here, it has looked like there were only three employees -- a cook, a manager who may... More

Unpretentious small diner across from the AF Base...consistently good across 20 visits. The price, especially for the daily specials is very reasonable. Not sure about the recent reviews, we always get good, friendly service and every meal has been good.

This is a small Mexican diner on a busy thoroughfare that I have been going to for more than 25 years. In my opinion, it has decent Mexican food including Veracruz-style fish but what really turns me on is their Caldo de Pescado which reminds me of wonderful soups I've had in interior Mexico, full of fish and vegetables. The beef tacos were awful -the hamburger meat was mostly a non-meat filler and undercooked - the meat was pink. I could not eat it. They were kind enough to take them away and bring me chicken tacos. The chips were overcooked, the beans were dry, and everything was over salted. It was not very clean either. Nice people, bad... More

Had never had menudo and went there with my daughter who lives in ABQ just for that purpose. Excellent although I don't have any thing to guage it by. The rest of the food was very good also. The atmosphere is tiny old style diner but don't let that deter you.

El Sabor de Juarez is the best kept secret, we have gone to ABQ many times but luckily our GPS found this Restaurant. My wife had menudo and I had milanesa. The food was very delicious and the prices are reasonable. Will make it a point to visit again.
