We were recommended here by the staff of the hotel across the street. We sampled the quesadilla and the steak fingers and we're not disappointed. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Food was excellent and plentiful.

We met friends for dinner here and had a nice meal. The food was pretty good and the sopaipillas were tasty. We asked for extra chile for our enchiladas and were told they would charge us $1.75 extra….which we decided not to do. They don't have a liquor license so have your beer ahead of time. Would go back again... More

This is a good quality New Mexican style restaurant - be ready for some spicy food! Service was friendly and excellent. Good stop.

Good New Mexican cuisine. The salsa they served with the chips will most certainly get your attention. It creates a warm glow in your mouth that starts gradually. Just be careful. They don't serve liquor here, so you will have to go elsewhere for a m argarita. They are not open in evenings on Monday and Tuesday.

This is a very good place to eat authentic New Mexican. Not really distinguishable from many others in ABQ but that is not necessarily a bad thing. Prices are reasonable, food is delicious, portions are huge. I got the combo plate with a tamale, taco and enchilada, and while I was able to eat it all (except the rice and... More

There are no shortage of Mexican restaurants in Albuquerque so picking one from all of them can be a daunting task. I used Trip Advisor to help me make my decision recently and I am certainly glad I did. This unassuming place on West Central has great food, super service and a friendly atmosphere. My plate of carne adovada was... More

After 12 hours on the road, my husband and I weren't anxious to get back in the car to find a place to eat. We were staying at the Sandia Peak Inn across the street and decided we'd rather walk to this place and take a chance than drive somewhere else. We were both happy we did. The service was... More

I know people who love this place, but the food is only so-so and the service was lackluster at best.
