Sorry to say that this Mexican food wasn't near as good as many others that we've tried. Plenty of it, but too hot for gringo's.

Although convenient to the Sandia Peak Inn, I cannot recommend this restaurant. The selection was limited. The Spanish Rice and Frijoles were microwaved masses; the pork tamale was okay, but the red sauce was simply hot and not savory.

We had the combo plate and it was excellent. The green chilies were warm but the red are hotter. No alcohol served which was fine with us. Mainly locals were eating here which I take as a good sign.

There were about ten choices on the menu but the food was excellent. Fast service. No alcohol is served. Close to Sandia Park Motel

Carnitas burrito had excellent flavor and was grande size. I like my food spicy, and this was no disappointment. My kids got a plain hamburgers, which were OK.

Beware, chile novices should to order their meals with the chile on the side. Very friendly efficient staff, large tasty meals, just like grandma used to make (if grandma was from arround here!) From a bowl of chile beans with meat to green chile cheeseburgers to carne adovada, all meals here are great. They have some of the best sopapillas... More

This place looked popular with the locals, but the food was too hot for our taste. We'd spent a week traveling around Sante Fe, and always enjoyed the food when it was the lighter "green" taste. Even the green sauce was too hot for us at this location.
