Interesting concept. Fast quality food, nice size menu. Great cinnamon rolls. Good tortillas. Great prices. One of the few restaurants in ABQ that was recommended to us that actually met/exceeded expectations.

I passed thie Frontier my first day in town and knew I had to stop for a meal. Yummy sweet roles! Very good chili in a big bowl with a label at the condiment counter. Great flour tortillas-some of best I've tasted-Very cool retro/john wayne feel to it.Been around forever and I know why. The food is inexpensive and tasty... More

You cannot go to Albuquerque qnd not eat here if your hotel is anywhere near the UNM Campus. You won't be hungry when you leave and if you are traveling and watching your food budget...this could be an option for you...hey, try it for yourself and see. My family likes the breakfast borritos....

This is a place where you will get the best breakfast burrito in NM. The salsa pots have enough salsa for your appetite. The best part is it's open 5am-1am. So you can be here almost any time and order a breakfast burrito.

When there's a line 50 people long the food must be good. Went there for breakfast and weren't disappointed. Food was delicious! Order at one of ten counters and then go to pick up your food when your number is posted on the video screen. A local favorite and very busy, yet it only took about 10 minutes to get... More

If you visit Albuquerque, the Frontier is a must. Great for any meal and open late for the after hours crowd. It is a staple for many UNM students and faculty. Great eclectic diner atmosphere, very reasonable prices and fantastic, enthusiastic service. And oh, yes, the cinnamon roll swimming in a plate of butter. Just go. You'll be glad you... More

We were just driving through Albuquerque and decided to stop and eat at the Frontier Diner. We ordered breakfast burritos with Carne Adovada, pancakes and a cinnamon roll. The burritos were amazing, they are stuffed with an egg, hash browns, cheddar cheese and green chiles. And the Carne Adovada of course. They have a kick. The cinnamon roll.....the cinnamon roll.....it's... More

I hadn't been here in 20 years so when we were back in town we had to stop in. It is exactly how it was 20 years ago. The rolls are very good and I love their breakfast food. This place has its own quirky personality. Hopefully it won't be another 20 years before we get to go back.
