Spent many a nights in study groups. Good burrito, fast service and ample seating...Parking can be tough.

I didn't even get to try the food. I went into the restroom and can't even describe how dirty it was! But with all the mess in there, I walked out. Maybe the university students don't mind no toilet paper or towels and doors that don't lock, but it wasn't for me and a husband with germophobia. Sorry folks. Won't... More

Yes, this is your typical NM Mexican/American fare...but at the high-end of the quality/taste spectrum. I grew up in Alb, but haven't been here for close to 23 years. I really wanted a taste of the NM food I remembered, but didn't want to get gut-rot or crappy quality from any one of the few dozen places popular with locals...I... More

All around really good diner food with a New Mexican twist. Make sure to add green or red chile to your order if it's not already included to make sure you are getting new mexicos authentic flavors. Expect to pay about 10 bucks per head for some really tasty food.

We stopped by here on a Sunday afternoon for a quick bite, and were pleasantly surprised by the excellent hamburgers. Now I normally don't write a review for a good hamburger, but the Frontier is more of an experience than simply eating a meal. Located right across the street from the University of New Mexico, there is always an interesting... More

The food is good and the atmosphere unique. Though unusual in that it has a "fast-food" feel in what looks more like a sit-down dining place, overall the experience is enjoyable and interesting.

Frontier Restaurant is a great place to go for casual dining. You can bring many friends (we had over 20 people last week), or go by yourself. You order your food at the counter and sit where you like. It is often filled with students from the University of New Mexico, so I would say it is a younger crowd.... More

The Frontier is located near UNM - the food is inexpensive, but great. Atmosphere has not changed much since it opened, which was forever ago, but that is what everyone loves about it. This is as casual as it gets, but if you're looking for good chili, fresh tortillas, you'll get here. Order a cinnamon roll - regardless of the time... More

The Frontier Restaurant is an experience not to miss in Albuquerque. This landmark, must visit establishment will be a fun experience on your first or one thousandth visit. If there is a long line when you arrive, don't worry. The counter service is fast and your wait will be worth every minute. What ever you order, please order tortillas. They... More
