Burrito breakfast

We stopped here to try the famous breakfast burritos that are a college favorite. It's located across the street from the UNM campus and was quiet in a Sunday morning. Don't sit down and wait for a waitress like we did. (Stupid tourist move.) The place is set up in an order your food at the counter... read more

I, along with thousands of others, love Frontier. I don't live in Albuquerque, but I go up every January with students for a conference at UNM -- and I look forward to introducing new students to the joys of eating at Frontier! (And former students look forward to going back -- almost as much as to the conference itself!). Just... More

All the rave is about the South Western menu items, but we found them to be rather ordinary. Restaurant caters to UNM students.

Given the liberal hours of this trusted UNM joint, it's a perfect stop just after flying in to ABQ as you are jonesing for a chile fix. The red and green chile is terrific, as is the people watching. Don't forget the sweet rolls, too -- both as a sweet complement to your spicy meal and as a to-go treat... More

This is set up like a cafeteria-you go through the line and order what you want. The prices are similar to other cafeterias, and the quality of food is like a cafeteria. There is ample seating and they have long hours. For some reason, in addition to specializing in Mexican food, they have cinnamon rolls. Not sure how those things... More

I went on a quiet Thursday night and the chicken enchiladas and red chile sauce was excellent. Big restaurant space with lots of seating. Lots of local artwork inside the restaurant.

just stopped in for a bite before taking family to airport. We ordered cheese enchiladas with red chile..Omg it was so good and I had just had red chile as supposedly one of the best restaurants in town, but this beat it by a long shot. the fresh torillas were great and so was the guacamole. Our grandaughter loved her... More

This is an old establishment and fun to visit. The food is very good and priced reasonably. A good place for families to eat.

Super service, fabulous New Mexican food, barely dented the budget! Line up, place your order, grab your tray, find a seat, and enjoy perfectly cooked, delicious food. Best flour tortillas in the world!

We stayed in Albuquerque for a couple days and a friend recommended this place. It can be confusing when you walk in to order. If it's your first time, I recommend grabbing a paper menu and finding a place to sit. Decide what you want and then go up and order. There's a huge counter with cashiers waiting to take... More
