Great food at a great price. College kids, homeless folks, cops, octeganarians, soccer moms with kids: everybody loves this place! Wide selection of tasty food. Tacos? Pancakes? Salads? Burgers? All at the same time!! On the same plate if you want!

Whilst it wasn’t what we expected we thought it was good- a classic student dive. The Frontier was a fast food restaurant that sold burgers and Mexican food. You ordered at the counter found a seat and watched the screens for your number, and then you went to collect it. The portions were large, the food was good and the... More

The Frontier Restaurant is an iconic eating place while in Albuquerque. Situated across the street from the University of New Mexico there area always a great variety of people watching! The food is always tasty and a MUST is the Frontier Roll (share with someone). The green chile stew and posole are terrific options along with enchiladas and eggs. Good... More

We went straight from the airport to here and we're not disappointed. A true New Mexico institution. Green chili 'Nuff said.

This place has great burgers and burritos. They also have these incredible cinnamon rolls. We make sure to stop here anytime we are in town.

It's not fancy, but that means nothing! Frontier is THE place to go for cheap eats that really pack a flavorful punch. Just about everything here is made from scratch and made to order as well. Don't miss this place, it's a quick stop and you'll leave full and satisfied.

This restaurant is across the street from the University of New Mexico area (UNM) and is quite popular. Hours are 5 a.m. to 1 a.m. daily. We went to breakfast at 5:15 a.m. and there were only 3 other customers and ample parking. We ordered several items, which arrived at a reasonable time frame. Staff is accommodating and efficient. We lived in ABQ for 3 years, and this was a family favorite place to eat. Their burritos are large and great New Mexican flavor and heat. Kids love breakfast foods and salads. It is across from UNM, so gets the college crowd at times. On busy Route 66 and sometimes hard to find parking. Try to go during non... More

Came here while visiting Albuquerque after seeing it on Man vs. Food and hearing about how it was an Albuquerque staple. I was very happy with my experience here. Friendly service when ordering and from all of the employees. I got the green chile cheeseburger with fries. Both were very delicious. I won't say it's the greatest meal I've ever... More

This was our first visit to Frontier Restaurant and it was an experience. This place is truly one of a kind. I could see why it would be a student hangout. It was a large restaurant that had quick counter service. The food was tasty diner style food that was inexpensive and filling. We came here for breakfast. We ordered... More
