College hangout and more

Apparently, this is the Albuquerque thing to do and a must if you're in college at UNM. You'll be fine missing it. The food is cheap and decent quality. The tortillas, which you can buy fresh for your own use at home, are phenomenal. But the process of eating at the Frontier is a tremendous deterrent for going. You walk... More

Good spot for comfort food in a localized location. Price is reasonable and it is a family like atmosphere. For even more relaxed enviorment find the Golden Pride locations owned by same family.

Oh we love this place so much! Went for breakfast our last day in Albuquerque. The organs juice is fresh squeezed straight from oranges. Get a large! Breakfast burritos are our favorite. Homemade tortillas! The green chili enchiladas were awesome! And the cinnamon roll is the best we've ever had! To die for! You can get lots of their food... More

Atmosphere was wonderful. Directly across from UNM watching people was the best. The food is hot but excellent.

This place is pretty cool, kind of a diner/dive vibe. You have to order up front, then wait for your number to be called. The food was good and the people watching was also good. Great cast of characters here. Lots of history here too. I'll be back next time I'm in Albuquerque.

We have breakfast here every Sunday and wouldn't miss it. The food is great, the atmosphere is a cross-section of Albuquerque and everyone is happy to be here. Relaxed environment and great food.

Frontier is right by the University of New Mexico. The one time I went there after years of people telling me how great it was, I was let down. The Green Chile stew that I get at Golden Pride(which is owned by The Frontier) is much better than what I had that evening at Frontier, the flavoring was grease. Go... More

Been eating here for years, and now purposefully make the trek across the city for my burrito fix. Love the breakfast burrito with the green chili sauce that is by the silverware. The sweet roll is delicious and very large- good for splitting between a few people.

Local. Been eating there when mood hits since college days. Breakfast burrito (covered with free green chili sauce located by silverware) is a fav. Sweet roll is another. Quick and cheap. No frills. Order at counter, try to find a seat, and wait till number called. People watching is added bonus.
