Wow! Amazing Food! New Mexican (NOT MEXICAN) Cuisine At It's Best

The red chili adovada stuffed sopailla was particularly great. Very red, good levels of round mouth heat, and the adovada was simply an amazing stuffing for the sopailla. Adovada is a New Mexican specialty. This was the best we found during our week long vacation in Albuquerque and Santa Fe... read more

Typically we eat breakfast but this time we stopped in for lunch. Homemade chili and family recipe's combine to ensure a tasty treat for your palette. Stop by and enjoy authentic New Mexican fare courtesy of Mary, Tito and family.

The outside doesn't look like much and at first we thought we were in the wrong place, but this was the best carne adovada I have ever eaten. Mine was in the sopapilla with cheese and it was fantastic. My wife had the carne adovada with tortillas and she loved it. The red and green sauces are spicy and a... More

I have been eating at Mary & Tito's for 40 years, at least. Not a lot of atmosphere, location is difficult to park, and you get the best red chile in town. Put it on everything! Try the turnovers. Have some enchiladas with an egg on top.

Delicious red chile. Definitely try the Mexican turnover, or the carne adovada... Or really anything there, I'm sure it's all great. They have a punch card, too; 11th meal is free!

A great place to get some very good Mexican food. Good portion sizes, great service, good prices and great good make this a must stop and try when in Albuquerque! Family owned and operated, one of the grandsons waited on us, he was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable! The sopapillas are very good and very large!

After flying in we made a beeline for Mary's & Tito's. They close at 8pm. We got there about 7:40 and were able to get served. A lot of food that is great for only a little $$$. No liquor served.

Went to Mary and Tito's our first night in Albequerque and really enjoyed it. Total dive in a funky neighborhood, but very nice people and excellent food. Had our meals 'Christmas' style (red and green sauce) and really enjoyed it. Be aware if you're sensitive to spicy food, this was reasonably hot for me (I admit I'm a wimp when... More

As a native of ABQ, I have been eating chile for many years. This is without a doubt the best Mexican food I have ever experienced. The red chile is THE best ever. The green is excellent too. The family that owns and operates this place is wonderful - great people, great cooks and servers. If you want ultimate Mexican... More

Just north of downtown stop by Mary and Tito's for a trip home. Warm and inviting, its like a flash from the past as the "retro" feel takes you back to days gone by. Enjoying our favorite juevos rancheros, the red chili was delicious and "warm", the green fresh and flavorful, the eggs cooked perfectly. Reasonably priced and great service... More
