Our first stop in Albuquerque after a long plane trip. Being new in town, we used Trip Advisor to choose a restaurant in the vicinity. We were certainly not disappointed in this local cafe. Although its exterior and parking area were not necessarily the type type of characteristics that would bring in a lot of street traffic, the friendly service,... More

We had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant during our recent visit to Albuquerque and Santa Fe. As someone who loves great food, I had read about this restaurant and its previous James Beard "America's Classic" award. Our entire group loved our meals - it was a great choice. Antoinette, Mary's daughter, was charming. She provided excellent recommendations regarding... More

This was our first stop in Albuquerque. I had the beef and cheese sopapilla, which was very good. However, my wife had the pork burrito, which was excellent. I got the distinct feeling that we were the only people in the restaurant who weren't locals/regulars. That being said, the staff was very helpful, friendly, and welcoming. I hesitate to call... I had heard about Mary & Tito's New Mexican food restaraunt for many years but never tried it until the other day. The food is what I would call traditional new mexican style and was very good. The hole in the wall spot on 4th street needs remodeling, the booths are so old you sink in a little when you... More

I, with my family, try to spend a little bit of time in New Mexico each year on vacation. Once again, when visiting Albuquerque, we stopped at Mary and Tito's, and once again I was in hog heaven with the stuffed sopapilla with pork adobado, with 'Christmas' salsa (both red and green). Yeah, I can't make up mind which one... More

This is my go to place when I need a chili fix. Best carne adovada enchiladas on the planet. With red and green. Their red chili is the best you can get. The beans and rice are excellent. I remember this was the first New Mexican restaurant my father took me to back in 1966 or '67. A different location... More

This place is a little hole in the wall with no parking and DELICIOUS food. My husband had the Carne adobada (their specialty) and was very good. I had the chicken adobada and it was also very good. We both got the red/green chille on both. I highly recommend dining at this place. You have to get the wedding cake... More

The carne adobada is very tasty, and not to hot that it's impossible to eat. The flavor of the beans and consistency of the Spanish rice were good. The chips and salsa not so good, flavorless salsa. The breading on the chile relleno was too think and the cheese enchilada had almost no cheese. By the way, this restaurant does... More
