There's a definite difference in Mexican food as opposed to New Mexican. This is the true stuff that is what I'd find back home in Sur Califas or any other Mexican enclave. I found this on the Y site, and it definitely was packed so that was a good sign. The food was cheap and I could barely finish my... More

This restaurant has some surprise drinks not found at most Mexican restaurants: Tamarind, Sorrel and a few others that are normally only found in the West Indies. There is always a crowd and it is a small place, but worth the short wait to get delicious burritos, tacos and other great Mexican food!

This place is synonymous with its neighborhood, everything on the menu will surpass your expectations, the burritos are monstrously large, and they do not leave vegetarians out in the cold. Thing is this place is a hot spot for the community, dont be surprised if you cant find a place to sit inside, its always packed. From ranchers to firefighters,... More

I stopped by for supper on a recommendation. It's a small little restaurant, so it can get packed pretty quickly around supper time. If there is a wait, be patient it will be worth it! The service was great, I asked what chicharon was because I never heard of it and they offered me a sample and any other meat... More

This place was wonderful! We arrived at about 10:30 am (we had time to kill while waiting to pick up relatives at the Amtrak station) and asked if they were serving lunch items yet. They said they were which was great news since we were starving. My husband and I ordered two tacos each. He had the adobada and the... More

Found this place on my TA app on my phone. Oh my goodness...it was crowded, friendly, clean and the food was delicious. Nothing fancy but authentic and freshly prepared. I got the Huevos Rancheros with corn tortillas...I wish I were back in Albq to get more. The staff was friendly and helpful with any questions. It is quaint, nothing fancy... More

DELICIOUS is all I have to say! The prices are great for hefty portions. I had a fajita combo, which includes shrimp, chicken, and beef, with peppers and onions, etc. It was served with another heaping plate of beans, rice, lettuce, a packet of sour cream, and 3 warm (HOT) tortillas. Our hotel was less than a mile away, which... More

Not only do they serve the best food, the staff is also very helpful. I stopped there due to the line and knew that it must be good.
