The food is ok and you can eat in a pleasant surrounding. My favorite is the new mexican rolls. The lunch specials are a great price. Lots r

Went with some friends from out of town. Never been here before. Very disappointed. The Miso soup was so salty was could not eat it. Food was nothing to brag about. I thought I was eating a rubber chicken, and had to hunt for veggies on the plate.

This Japanese restaurant is located at a very busy crossroad @ Alameda near Sprouts Supermarket. I have eaten here multiple times because if you are around the Cottonwood Mall & Rio Rancho, it's hard to find a decent Japanese restaurant. So ignore the 1980's ugly peach colored walls and enjoy the consistently good food. Every time I've been here for... More

This was my first time to this restaurant, and i wasn't expecting much just becasue of the location of the restaurant, but the food was excellent!. Everyone ordered Sushi, except my son but we had good service and you couldn't aask for a better dinner. I also ordered some Bulgogi, so I could have it for the next day, but... More

Our whole family has come here many times over the years. I think some of the comments about rudeness might be a cultural difference. Our trip this time was great. Had the nigiri lunch special and it was wonderful. Miso soup is so good and we were treated nicely. There was even a misunderstanding that they worked out well for... More

Staff is very rude and the food is not worth the trip! I can't believe this place still exist with staffs/servers treating customers poorly. It was my first time trying this place out and last. I will inform all my friends and family not to go to this place!

Revision of previous review. Staff member is rude. What more can I say? The food remains the same. A good value for lunch. Overpriced for dinner. We have visited this restaurant for the last time. We won't be going back.

70 bucks for the worst meal of my life, half of us came home sick, and half came home still hungry. Don't waste your time, or money here. The waitress was rude the entire time, yet demanded a bigger tip. The sushi was warm, and the ones who ate it were sick all night. Nasty, Nasty, Nasty!!!!

We enjoy Ichiban Restaurant for their great lunch selections. At the time of this review their lunch specials are on $7.95 and includes a generous portion of meat, several vegetable tempura, salad and rice. We're not sushi eaters, but there appears to be a large selection of sushi choices that are prepared on site. A nice place to eat.

I've tried quite a few sushi places and in the desert it's not always easy to find a place that has really good sushi. While there are a lot of sushi places popping up all over the place, this one is a true gem on the west side -- it's my favorite. Their sashimi is fresh and flavorful, as well... More
