My parents were looking for a good Mexican restuarant. We came across this suggestion and the reviews were on point! It is a great take out place we ate outside on the patio tables and it was great. It impressed my dad and he is a very picky eater when it comes to Mexican food!

Whole in the wall... don't be turned off by the outside. The food is amazing, authentic, home cooked Mexican food. The red chorizo chili has a ton of taste. There are picnic tables, umbrella and grass to the north of the entrance.

This place only sells takeout, but it is worth the wait. Great food and a great price. There are tables outside if you want to eat there.

I read about this place and had to try it out. It lived up to what people say. My son even liked it and he is really picky.

This place has been around since 1920s - the food has never wavered - it is always the same taste and quality. Drive down and give it a try, you won't be disappointed !!

We drove by here while waiting for our Daughters UNM Choir Rehearsal before they headed off to NYC. When we went in was not what expected, but The Aroma and Food were Awesome it reminded me of when I was First Taken to the Mexican Restaurant's in The Denver Barrio's by my Chicano Artist Friends. The Food was awesome Filling,... More

Although this place is a take out, their food is very good. The tamales I think are the best I have ever tasted and they do have tables outside if you don't mind eating there. I can have a tamale and some coffee outside and I have a small meal that is very tasty.

I've been going to this establishment for years and have never been disappointed! If you speak even a little Spanish attempting to use is will be greatly appreciated...Their breakfast burritos are to die for and for that matter everything else on their menu is fantastic! They have their logo T-shirts for sale and make wonderful souvenirs! My only advice is... More

We saw this on trip adviser and they had us at stuffed sopapailla! The reviews were excellent and so was the food. My whole family loved the food and the experience. If we're ever back in Albuquerque this will be on our list of places to eat.

Tasty Mexican food from pick-up joint. Little bit out of the way, so you have to know where you're going to find it. Had Carnitas Burrito & Stuffed Sopapilla. Everything was made fresh & both were huge portions. Prices are extremely reasonable. Understand why the locals flock here.
