Our waiter was fine. The food was good. I had the New Mexican Style Enchilada, and my egg was over easy and perfectly done. The chips and salsa were good. It wasn't gourmet, and it was very "turista," but so what. We had a nice meal, and it was fun eating on the plaza. more

There is nothing else to say. My partner and I went in to eat lunch on 06/09/2009. First they had no rice to serve with their dishes. Second my fork was filthy. Third the waiter was arrogant at best. Fourth, the dish I ordered came with a fried egg which I ordered over/well, it was practically raw. We lived in... more

I had dinner at La Hacienda in Old Town on 5/5/2009, which included a very weak margarita, and an iceberg lettuce salad with lukewarm fajita chicken strips on it, and from 4 am until 6 pm the next day, I was bedridden and throwing up every two hours. The only way I could drink was sucking on ice chips. I... more

This place is great, If your a tourist who has never eaten Mexican food before. We started with some queso it was awful, bland, and thin. I then ordered fajitas the meat was again horribly bland, however I must say that the red chili sauce and margaritas were fairly good. While this is really a place for tourists and grandmas... more

We were looking forward to eating at this restaurant. It was a beautiful night, and the outside patio looked very inviting. Unfortunately, the food and service was poor. I ordered the sampler platter - a taco, tamale, chile relleno, etc. The food came out ice cold, as in just out of the refrigerator. I ate some because I was starving.... more

Went to Old Town in Albuquerque and walked by this place and noticed the relaxing patio and knew we wanted to return for drinks and dinner. It was a beautiful/comfortable day to walk around. I would not have had as much fun if it was hot. Service was relaxed at 4:30pm. We ordered house margaritas which were outstanding. We learned... more

The food at La Hacienda was disappointing---skimpy cheese in the cheese enchilada, very average salsa and awful sopapillas. The sopapillas were very salty and too thick. Service was below average---not especially attentive. The one plus was the margaritas --- they were very good. I would not return to this restaurant. more

I have eaten at most of the olde town new mexico restuarants and found the food here to be tasty, but the servide was totally awesome. Had the Chile Rellenos and they were quite tastey; a little on the bland side. Chips and salsa are fresh and served immediately and sitting on the front porch is a nice end of... more

We just ate there today. My wife who is 6 months pregnant found a rock in her bean burrito and I have never had green chilli that tasted this bad. I would not reccomend this place to anyone! more
