This is just a great place to eat, hands down! The restaurant is a little dated, but when the food is this good, you can easily over look the decor.

Wanted to try Chinese, so we went the the top rated Chinese restaurant on TA with a Certificate of Excellence for 2013 and, according to the decal on the front door, also in 2012 from TA. We arrived at 5:30 on a Saturday night and there were only 4 other diners already there. We were 5 and 6. Alarm bells... More

This is a dependable Albuquerque local standard. Go expecting American Chinese food and you won't be disappointed, e.g. chop suey and lo mein This restaurant could probably be found in any of thousands small town American incarnations. The food is tasty, well-priced and NOT dumped into a buffet. A safe bet.

I went with my wife for lunch and ordered Kungpu chicken and Zchehuan shrimp. When the food come out, we were shocked. The portion was so small with just a little bit of what they called fried rice (basically this is just white rice and soy sauce mixed together, no other veggies) a tiny eggroll and, for my supposedly shrimp... No way is this classic Chinese food. I should know as I'm of Asian background bought up in a large Chinatown plus mom's home cooking. This restaurant caters to the American palate. The potstickers were bought from a supplier pre-made and then fried. The scallion cakes were totally incorrect. They just took a wonton skin and filled it with scallions.... More

I just returned to Albuquerque after 5 years out of state and sought out the KO Palace at my first opportunity (It was a regular haunt when I lived here before). I found the place had not changed with excellent classic Chinese food, friendly service and very reasonable prices. The dining area has a nice atmosphere and was very clean... More

I have been going there for years and still love the food, service, people! My favorite dishes are the sweet pungent chicken, curry chicken, and pepper steak, just to name a few!

We love this place and go whenever we can. Service is extremely good & polite. The food is delicious, well flavored, ungreasy and reasonably priced. The owner is gracious and seems to be always there, making sure things are right. Centrally located to shopping centers and hotels also. A good variety of Chinese dishes, with excellent Szechuan. Everything we have tried... More
