The outside design is very authentic and inviting. Great decor inside. We normally like booths but the tables and chairs were very comfortable. Karla, our server, could not have been better; never had to ask for refills, she was there without hovering. All servers can write their names upside down and backwards - that alone is entertaining. The baked formaggio... More

Really good food, much richer than you would find in Rome, with a heavy emphasis on cream and butter but very Italian non the less. Have tried many of Albuquerque's Italian restaurants and this is the best. Their olive oil with herbs dip and fresh, warm bread is lovely.. Ample servings, excellent service.

Leg up on the Olive Garden for this small-chain eatery in the Cottonwood Mall. Fresh bread, warm and engaging environment, pleasant and happy diners; food is ample and tolerably Italian to my Irish tastebuds. Fairly classy, nothing you'd find in Italy, but pretty good. Definite nice date night place; a little crowded and noisy but not bad.

My family dined at this restaurant last week. We were impressed with the gluten free offerings. They even brought my son fresh baked gluten free bread when the rest of us got regular bread and olive oil. His gluten free pasta was fresh and good. The only negative is that they charge 2.49 for a house salad that was mostly... More

I irdered motzerala sticks fir an appatizer that tasted frozen and the chicken Marsala that was supposed to be made with a Chicken Breast, was made with strips of dark meat instead.

Our first visit to Zio's was in Oklahoma City while driving cross country. We fell in love with the Italian nachos. We visited again yesterday while staying with family in Albuquerque. We were not disappointed. The spinach and artichoke pasta was excellent. Our party also had the veggie lasagna and the eggplant which was seasoned well and light. Delicious! Go... More

Fond memories of past meals at this restaurant led me to select Zio's for my birthday celebration, dinner courtesy my daughter and son-in-law. Anything that could go wrong with a meal, did! Begin with drink orders: out of this, out of that, even though the items are staples at any bar (tonic, for example). A long wait before being served,... More

We went there for the first time and had the lunch portion, which was good because had to take some of that home. It was very good. The marinara sauce was tangy and good. We had bruschetta and it was outstanding. The meals were very reasonably priced and the service was outstanding.

This was our first visit to this restaurant, and we were pleasantly surprised. It definitely has a relaxed family atmosphere, and a wide variety of food to choose from. My husband had the lasagna and I chose the eggplant parmigana. Both were so good! In my humble opinion, it tasted like authentic Italian food. Our waitress was very friendly and... More

The food was tasty Italian fare. The service was good and the atmosphere felt happy. Definitely kid fand family friendly. Good portions, great taste (not too much garlic..just enough), and excellent service from the hostess to the bartenders to the waiters and even the chef came out to see how our meal was. I recommend it for anyone interested in... More
