The Jefferson Street Landry's Seafood House has closed. A new restaurant, Claim Jumpers has opened for business in the same location.

Seafood was very good and the location just off I 25 at Jefferson was very convenient coming from the balloon fiesta area. Also had a free appetizer coupon from a Albuquerque travel brochure.

For anyone looking for reviews on Landry's in Albuquerque, the restaurant no longer exists. The location where the Laundry's Seafood House stood at the corner of I-25 and Jefferson in northeast Albuquerque closed down several months ago, was fully renovated, and in the past couple of weeks during the 2013 end of year holiday season, re-opened as a Claim Jumper... After the really crap visit to Landry's in San Antonio (reviewed last October) I really wasn't ready for another. However, cooler (friends) heads and past experience in Orlando and Branson brought me back. This is what a Landry's should be, good food, good service, and high prices (not for budgeted meals). You will pay for a "dining experience"

Wife and I ordered the "Catch of the day"! Fish was dry, tasteless and we both agreed that it had been previously frozen. The rice pilaf was plain clumped white rice, also tasteless, and the "Steamed Veggies" was water logged broccoli. Unable to eat, we paid and left. Worst food we have ever been served!

We showed up to Landry's at 1:00pm with 14 people. There were probably 4-5 other tables in service. It took them 30 minutes to seat us (blaming us for showing up with 14 people), 30 minutes to serve us water and take our order and another 30 minutes to bring our food out. There was no apology offered when confronted... More

Sunday evening dinner was a very pleasant experience. Easy parking, not crowded, nice ambiance, friendly waitress who gave good advice when questioned about the food. Because it is a chain, and because they have to fly in the fish, this restaurant is priced on the higher side of Albuquerque restaurants, but no more so than other chains. Dinner for 2... More

What a pleasant surprise. Table cloths and all. Excellent service, delicious food, and great ambience. I will in a rural part of New Mexico so to find an exquisite restaurant is always a treat. Highly recommend Landry's.

I really enjoyed eating at Landry's on Sunday with friends. We were there for lunch and almost had the place to ourselves. The service was superb and the food was lovely. I had delicious fish tacos and their onion strings are yummmmy! We shared a key lime pie for dessert and it was also very good. I would highly recommend... More
