Great little cafe!

Found this neat little cafe on Tripadvisor and decided to drop in for breakfast. Upon approaching the outside of the cafe we noticed a cute little outside patio area. As we opened the door there was a lovely display case full of homemade baked goods. We observed many interesting and healthy... read more

When you walk into the Flying Star you're greeted with beautiful desserts and friendly staff. You order at the counter where you pay right away and where you are given a number to take to your table. You pick a table and your food is brought to you when it's ready. I ordered a strawberry shake and sweet potato fries... More

It's no secret, I'm a huge Flying Star fan. We recently went there before a performance we were going to at Pope Joy in Albuquerque. The energy here is so friendly and healthy i'd eat here all the time, love their grains and greens. I always look forward to a flying star eating experience. This paticular time we got one... More

Passing through Albuquerque, we were visiting friends and dined at the Flying Star for breakfast. It reminded me of Panera with a whole lot more character and quirkiness. great artwork everywhere, interesting layout for dining and seating, and the food was quite good.

Poor service, overpriced food, long wait time to receive our orders. There's not much good I can say about this place. I won't be returning.

Great coffee....my fav is cafe mocha. Great bakery....heavenly selection of pies, cakes , cookies.and more! Excellent sandwich with unique ingredients. I had the California which had cheese, avocado and grilled onions on rustic bread. And they have a lovely patio to sit outside if you prefer. An oasis in the city. Thumbs up!

The Flying star chain has grown too fast and the quality has suffered. The portions are small and overpriced. While the locations are great for business meetings and there is free internet the staff is terrible and rather snotty. It's too bad but flying star has ceased to fly and has crashed.

Flying Star is super casual, order at the counter and they bring it to you when ready. My soup of the day seemed to take a while to get from pot to bowl to table, but once it go there, it was fabulous and quite filling, which is saying something for me. It's busy and noisy there, so if you... More

From numerous personal observations, it appears that most folks visit the Star to sit for hours with their Wi-Fi devices while drinking coffee. It's very hard to get a place to sit no matter what time of day. The magazine rack is long gone which was one of the highlights. Tables are scattered about and need a cleaning. There are... More

The Flying Star at the Juan Tabo location is as delicious as the rest of them. They have a very beautiful garden area out back if you want to get away from the high ceilings that seem to echo the loud kitchen noises. I liked the high bar where you can plug in your computer (they have wifi), but I... More
