This is our third trip to Trombino's and we are starting to see an inconsistent trend that seems to be based on how busy they are. Last two trips were for early dinner and late lunch. Both were quite good. This time, not so much. They were very busy, and the food quality seemed sub-par this time. We had Veal... More

Yes, the food was tasty! Place was packed, and highly recommended. Waiter Kyle was friendly/charming. However, I feel like I got hoodwinked.Trouble came at check out. Many of their wines come in two glass sizes,as mine did at $8 and $12. I was surprised to learn when the bill came that without asking, Kyle had brought me the more expensive... More

This isn't New York City so I don't have super high expectations for Italian food here. The meal we had was excellent. Calamari appetizer. Minestrone soup. Chicken parmigiana. Spaghetti and meatballs. Main course is a big portion although a hearty eater will have no problem finishing it all. Our server, Jason, was fantastic. Wonderful attitude, big smile, attentive and one... More

Had the lasagna for dinner. The portion size was very large, plenty of leftovers for lunch. This was by far the best lasagna I've had in many years. A bit loud in the restaurant, but lively atmosphere. Also had the mussels as an appetizer and were really tasty. Definitely recommend it.

If you're really, really hungry and want a portion that will challenge you to finish it, this is your Old School Italian. Very extensive menu with all the staples and then some. Reasonable prices and very good service. Plenty big enough for a large party, or if you have a bunch of friends or family visiting. This place is obviously... More

My wife and I were here during the balloon fiesta on a Saturday night. We had made reservations and were seated immediately. Our server was Scott and he was very attentive to us. We both had different pasta dishes and they were excellent. I had been here about 10 years ago and was happy to return. They have been in... More

They recently expanded their current location to include more available seating. The decor inside was nice with private areas for people to relax and eat. To give you an idea the food is southern Italian, which tends to have more flavor than northern Italian. The flavors were distinct and the portions were very large. The bread was comparable to Carrabbas;... More

Wow, I'm surprised reading the other reviews, our experience was terrible. We were in town for Balloon Fiesta and always have Italian food for our Anniversary so we wanted to give Trombino's a try. We dined on an early Monday evening, the restaurant wasn't busy yet. Our server Juliana was very unfriendly and seemed annoyed at my request for half... More

We have tried Paisano's Italian Restaurant, and found it great. This evening we thought we would give Trombino's Bistro Italiano since it is close to our hotel. My favorite is always lasagna, and I personally use that as my comparison. I have to rate Paisano's as some of the best I have ever had. Trombino's is a larger proportion, and... More
