So, I just got introduced to East indian Cuisine in the past 5 years. I love it. Especially the Chicken Tiki Masalah. I have tasted it elsewhere in the city and nothing compares to how good it is at The Taj Majal in Albuquerque! Worth the trip!

Don't know much about authenticity but the best I've found. Everything is served with lots of delicious rice. My wife can't tolerate onions so they happily served her a custom meal which she found delicious. I was thrilled that they easily adjusted the heat in my dish until I was sweating with enjoyment. We've found our perfect Indian restaurant.

We have always enjoyed the Taj Mahal buffet. On the last visit, we arrived maybe a few minutes before 11am and hoped they would seat us so we could make a tightly scheduled appointment. We were the first customers of the day and found the buffet even slightly better with all freshest prepared curries and vegetable dishes. Aziz was memorably... More

I don't really have much experience with Indian food, but this place had some delicious fair, The price was very reasonable for the lunch buffet and there were a decent amount of well prepared items. service was exceptional and I am looking forward to returning.

This is my 2nd time trying this place. The food has some flavor to it but it was extremely salty. I would not recommend this restaurant.

The lunch buffet was delicious! I loved all the different dishes. The garlic naan and jasmine rice were great. I also love the dessert. Will stop here again on my next visit to Albuquerque.

We enjoy the food here, it's better than most places in town, but I would not say it's the best in the city. It's a good neighborhood eatery and they serve beer and wine. We have not had a bad meal and the staff is friendly and fairly attentive. The atmosphere is dim and there are many places that serve... More

The buffet has been great for years and it never gets old. Great variety of meat and vegetable dishes often with regular and garlic naan. I could eat more of most everything. They give hubby some fresh chiles but the mint chutney is hot enough for me. Everything is flavorful and unique. We love Indian food but it's a lot... More

One of the most flavorful Indian meals that I have had on the road- certainly the mango lassi was one of the best. Great service and nice little touches throughout. Will definitely go again when in ABQ.

Went there with my daughter in law, who is from India and she ordered for me and good lord I thought I was in Heaven...it was the most delicious vegetarian meal I have ever had. The funniest thing that happen was she ordered roasted chili peppers and gave me half of one to eat...it was not hot so eventually I... More
