Excellent greek lunch

Consistently very good Greek lunch combos. All the combos come with a really nice salad with good house greek dressing, the most amazing patates, and whichever entree you choose. Both the Gyro and Souvlaki are excellent.

Just off Central and and the perfect spot before a show at UNM. The gyro dinners are wonderful; the thin fried potato slices are heaven. Simple dinning with wonderful food.

Informal place to get good Greek food. I like the gyros combo, with the homemade chips and salad. Close to the university and Nob Hill area

It was great to be able to find a Restaurant on Valentines day that you could walk in and order and eat. None of the other Greek Restaurants had seating. Now there is a catch. This is a Restaurant that you go up to the counter order and pay for your food and then they bring it to you. However,... More

This Greek restaurant falls somewhere between a fast-food restaurant and full-service restaurant and, in that category, it's our favorite in ABQ. Incredible gyro platters, great potatoes and Greek salad. Nice folks who work there, too. Our favorite part? The choklova. Yes, folks. Some genius person took an already-decadent baklava and covered it in creamy milk chocolate. Oh. My. Goodness. Bet... More

And I'm glad he did! Never had a real gyro before, just a not-so-reasonable facsimile. These things were great. Very tasty and filling. Staff was a bit standoffish, probably because there were 6 in our party and may have been unprepared for us. Only 2 people were working and the place was a little busy. Will definitely go again.

Really enjoyed a light Greek meal after all the New Mexican food. Very fresh and tasty. Loved the avgolemono soup. I imagine this place gets very crowded when school is in session, and rightfully so.

My wife and I had the saganaki and the gyro plates. Both were traditional and very good. We were fortunate to stop in on a slow Sunday afternoon, as I've heard they are extremely busy at times. The wait-staff was very friendly and accommodating. I would recommend trying the chok-lava (chocolate cover baklava sprinkled with chopped walnuts).

This has always been our "go to" spot for casual Greek/Mediterranean food, even though we drive 30-40 minutes from Rio Rancho to get it. It is right across the street (behind The Frontier) from UNM which makes it very convenient when visiting the university or attending Popejoy events. I love the Avgolemono soup with a Greek salad. The Gyro platter... More
