Great food, great service!

This was our second visit to Yanni's, on Route 66 in Albuquerque. The décor is striking - modern-looking blue and white, and very spacious. They have an "outside" enclosed patio which is not air-conditioned but very pleasant to sit out there if the evening is not too hot. The service we had was... read more

yannis,Greece, restaurant. This was a classy Mediterranean theme restaurant. We dined on the Greek bake chicken and found the lemon was a touch too much. The crab cake appetizer will disappoint if you are looking for a Chesapeake style. This crab cake was more like a crab dip mound served on a tomato. The service was tops and we might go... More

The place for a great meal before the show at Popejoy. Outstanding food, great service but a bit on the expensive side.

It is a little odd that one of my favorite place for a steak in Albuquerque is a Greek restaurant. But they prepare a perfect steak, every time. Their hummus is delicious, great bread. Everything is excellent. The staff is professional, friendly, and helpful. The fact that they have their own parking lot in Nob Hill doesn't hurt either. For... More

Excellent food! We have eaten at Yanni's several times, and the food is consistently terrific. Service is decent, sometimes slow but general good. The atmosphere is a bit noisy for the over all general intimate/upscale setting, but that wont stop me from returning.

Yanni's was recommended to us by a work colleague, and since we weren't in the mood for Mexican we gave it a try. The location is nice and the restaurant was a bit more formal than expected. The menu offered more then the typical Greek meals and made it hard to decide. From the specials menu a salmon and asparagus... More

My wife and I went to Yanni's on Saturday evening before a Popejoy concert. I ordered the Fillet and my wife ordered the mixed Greek plate. Service was not up to par for an upscale restaurant. Our waitress seemed distracted and not fully engaged in her serving duties. The Fillet came out under cooked. Almost raw. Our waitress didn't check... More

First of all, this place has a great vibe! It's downtown, and is wonderfully located. We were there for a celebration with our family and we had a great table and excellent service. I recommend the Sunset Lemonade if you're looking for a cocktail.I ordered the NY strip with a vermouth glaze with scalloped potatoes and asparagus and it was... More

Honestly... Meh. We were underwhelmed. The moussaka was just ok, the vegetarian stuffed squash was under cooked... The baklava was dried out, not fresh at all and the chocolate cake with frangelico was just a pre bought dessert. Most of the meal was nothing special. However, the lamb shank was pretty good and the key lime pie was tasty as... More

We stumbled into Yanni's between rain storms and had a very enjoyable meal of Greek salads and Greek pasta, washed down with agua con gas and Greek wine. The service was excellent. The space is nicely done, with big windows and lots of blue and white.
