The meat is to tasty!

My husband and I loved the smokey flavor so much we went back the next day. The meat is so tasty, you don't need the sauce. We tried the pork ribs, baby back ribs, turkey and beef brisket....all were tender and cooked to perfection. Our server was very friendly too....it was our 1st time in town... read more

If you crave moist or lean brisket, pulled pork or a rack of ribs this is a great place to rely on. The food is served up fast and consistent. It's picnic table style with white bread, brown wax paper for a plate and no frills but the quality of the food does the talking. Be prepared to wait in... More

I went to Rudy's as it was rated the best barbeque in Albuquerque. After I arrived and was ready to order, I found the menu confusing as to the fact that you can not order any type of barbeque plates. You can only order the meats by the half pound. Once I figured out the process for ordering dinner, I... More

Love this place for a simple, no nonsense meal; great service, love the presentation and someo of the best tasting BBQ you will have. Casual atmosphere, quick and simple!

Yes, Rudy's BBQ restaurant has a spacious dining room and it has outside picnic tables where large families can have a lot of fun with a picnic like dining experience with some of the best BBQ chicken and brisket in Albuquerque. One stands in a fast moving line where one can take a bottled drink out of a large vat... More

If you don't like meat, keep driving. If you love good BBQ, the Rudy's is the place. Order as much as you want, and unapologeticly eat it with your hands. I love ribs and Rudy's are some of the best. If you have to have a side order of something, go for the beans. All the way around, Rudy's is... More

So Rudy's is a chain. There is another one in Anthony, TX, which is awesome. That being said, I have not eaten at the one in ABQ, and my friends from up there are not huge fans. Thus, as a whole I like the Rudy's franchise, but the specific resteraunt in ABQ may not be up to par.

Rudy's is big and noisy and totally informal. You stand in a long line to order, then wait an additional long while to eventually receive your food. Then you move to seating at what amounts to indoor picnic tables. But the food itself -- BBQ beef, pork, and or/chicken -- is well-worth it. And the prices are reasonable, too.

I always enjoy the food here and this is by far the best BBQ in ABQ. I go here often for meetings for work and also pleasure. Randy the manager is an amazing person, he comes out and visits with everyone and makes sure you are enjoying everything. I like the way everyone seems to like working there and that... More

Well, if you like barbecue and don't care about eating cafeteria style, this might be a decent place to try out but don't look for much else than the food. You can pick up your sides and a tray, then go through the cafeteria line, telling your servers exactly what you'd like. The nice part is that you can construct... More
