This place was hopping! I knew we had made a good decision when we couldn't find an open spot in the parking lot. The line inside was super long, but the staff was efficient and there was more than sufficient seating. The star of the meal was the moist brisket. The banana pudding was better than most that I've had.... More

Although it appeared rather deserted at barely 9pm next to the packed BBQ joint next door, we opted for Blake's because we though it would be quicker and we could get back on the road. The inside of the restaurant has an eerie iridescent quality due to the fluorescent lights but appeared clean. The staff, soft spoken and somewhat withdrawn... More

We had dinner in this BBQ during August 2014. Great brisket (very very lean), great chicken, great turkey and great sausages. Very good baked potatoes and cole slaw! Enjoy!!

There aren't many places here in Albuquerque for good BBQ, and Rudy's is at the top of the list. The food is great, the service is fast and the atmosphere reminds me of the BBQ's joints I use to visit in Dallas.

We stopped her for dinner. The brisket were one of the best ones we have tasted. (enough to erase the horrible brisket we tried in Manitou Springs, Colorado -so bad, we wanted to take our Texas flag back). The food is wonderful...and 3 pounds of brisket was enough for a family of seven. Love it.

I LOVED this place. Big inside with loads of seating at long tables. Very casual so a place to grab dinner rather than a night out. I had 1lb of moist beef brisket which was seasoned and charred on the outside and moist, juicy and soft on the inside and nice smoky taste. The table sauce was great too. Busy... More

This place was highly recommended....said that the meat was falling off the bone...NOT! I found the ribs tough vs tender and they certainly were not falling off the bone! Pulled pork was overcooked and mushy. I know that this is not a healthy place at all, but offering a garden salad would go a long way and offer diversity of... More

We are from Texas, eat at Rudy's frequently, and know what good bbq should taste like. The food served at this particular location is not at all up to par with any other Rudy's restaurant we've ever been to. Brisket was tough, chewy, and essentially inedible. Not only that, but we order a 1/2 pound and they 'accidentally cut 3/4... More

On our roadtrip, I found Rudy's on Trip Advisor and we were glad we did. Great value. They give you the bread, and you make your sandwich. Pull pork was tasty. My son had center ribs and liked them. Would stop there again when in the area and recommend.

I have gone to Rudy's several times the food is very good and the place is a trip. I like standing line it gives you a chance to meet and talk to other customers and ask questions. Fun place to go!!!!
