I'd give my left kidney for more of their prime rib - I could not believe how delicious it was. Perfectly seasoned and cooked just the way I like it. The moist brisket was just as good. I had a hard time finding a good place to eat in Albuquerque, so the fact I actually returned to Rudy's is a... More

Everything you would expect from a BBQ joint is here: paper towels, tubs of soft drinks and beer, styrofoam cups of the usual side dishes, and pork, poultry and beef served in butcher paper...and lots of yelling. Two house sauces (Sissy and regular) both are tasty and tangy. Seating is plentiful even when crowds flood in at busy meal times.... More

Great BBQ fare in a no frill and thrill ambience. Enjoy the sauce and briskets or simply the chicken or sausage.

Eaten there many times, best BBQ in town. Brisket is unbelievably good. Potato salad and sides are as good as the main course. I wish they would build one next to my house!

Perfect for hot July 1st afternoon in 90 degree NM: moist brisket my picky hubby said was Best Ever Had (he's like Mikey, doesn't like anything) and my chicken superb. Communal long tables w/plastic checked tablecloths: need I say more? OK then, sides were homemade, great choice of sodas & brewskis. Might come back before hitting I-40 again in the... More

Good BBQ, sides and let's not forget the peach cobbler. We met with family who live in Albuquerque as we drove thru going home to Kansas. Easy on and off of the interstate.

We knew we were in the right place when a local told us that everything on the menu was delicious. And they were right. I got the lean brisket and potato salad and it was delicious. The way the place is set up is pretty cool too. Great food!

Rudy's is a BBQ place and meat market. It's more cafeteria style. You walk up, select your sides by the container, desserts and drinks, then tell one of the several employees behind the counter what kind of meat and how much. They sell it by the half pound or pound. You can also order hot sides by the container. The... More

Everything we had was delicious. The ingredients were fresh and good quality; also a nice selection of comfort food type side dishes. It's located just down the street from the Residence Inn, and was a very nice surprise...much better than the hotel's recommendation. We were so impressed, we shipped an order back home to a friend.

I grew up in NM, but my family is from Texas and Tennessee. BBQ is a part of every visit to either of these places. However, I always end up back at Rudy's. Its definitely Texas style BBQ...so it is all about the brisket...and the brisket is the best. My wife loves the turkey and I have to say it... More
