Top notch BBQ

I had a half rack of baby back pork ribs with sides of coleslaw and beans. The sides were good, but those ribs were divine. They were smoky, with a bit of a roasted crust and an amazing, rich flavor. The sauce is good, but the ribs are amazing. This place tends to have quite a line, but it... read more

When we entered the restaurant it was packed. Instead of giving your order to a server, you walk through a line but the line goes very quickly because there are so many registers to take your order. Once you give your order, you receive it immediately. The ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender and you have a choice of spice hot BBQ... More

Just doing an overnight on road trip and this was recommended by hotel. The BBQ meats they have (ribs, brisket, chicken amongst others) was excellent. Cooked perfectly and very tender. 5-star

For those not familiar with Rudy’s, it is a Texas barbeque chain in a deliberately rustic and casual atmosphere. You stand in line to order and seat yourself; the indoor seating is on long picnic tables, the ‘outdoor’ seating is actually a screened in porch with a fire pit for use in the winter. They have a pretty extensive menu... More

Rudy's was recommended by the male desk clerk at the Comfort Inn. He is a foody, and the recommendation was spot on. The pulled pork was superior to any available in Memphis TN. The potato salad was French, as good as the home made potato salad my chef husband makes The cole slaw was lightly dressed, and excellent. I highly... More

I can't get over the fabulous taste of Rudy's smoked meats and baked potatoes . I have been back 5 times in 1 month. The ONLY issue I had was on Easter when a smarmy little twit named CAMERON gave me major attitude when I tried to order. Lots of "We do NOT slice our prime rib! That is how... More

Staying at nearby hotel and was recommended by clerk. Like other reviewers was a little confused by lack of combination options. Settled on brisket sandwich with side of slaw. Meat was excellent and loved the toasted bun. BBQ sauce was also above average. Slaw was just OK but should have tried something more local like the beans. This place is... More

We got the Prime Rib with the following sides. Potato Salad, 3 bean (green, garbanzos, and kidney), and their creamed corn. As I said above the sides were great but the Prime Rib was very tough and actually very little BBQ flavor. If we went again we would either get the Brisket or half Chicken. It is a wonderfully funky... More

This was my second visit and I'll definitely be back. The brisket is tender and really tasty-especially the ends with all the black. On my first visit I sat in the main room where the drinks are. This time I tried the side room that's kind of like an enclosed patio. It smelled like it had been mopped with a... More

Meat and lots of it. I've had better but I've had far worse. The Pork Loin was very dry. The sides are in Styrofoam containers and small.
