I have been to the Cooperage many times in the past, usually for dinner--this was the first time for lunch. The Prime Rib would be the obvious choice (their specialty) but I ordered the Santa Fe Salmon which is salmon with a very spicy (and tasty) sauce on the side. I also ordered a margarita which was excellent. The bread... More

A party of 28 was reserved a week in advance because the birthday girl's favorite dinnerbisbprime rib, the one thing that the cooperage claims is their specialty. Well, we were seated and assigned only ONE waiter for our entire party and after waiting 10+ minutes for everyone to get their beverages, he informs us that they are out of prime... More

I used to LOVE the Cooperage. It was our go-to place for special occasions. My husband and I went there for our 20th anniversary. I got steak and enchiladas. I ordered the steak rare (yes! I like them bloody!) and it was med well. Barely pink, somewhat tough. The enchiladas were OK, nothing special. My husband got prime rib, also... More

We decided to eat out on Thanksgiving (first time) and chose the Cooperage. It seemed like a good deal; $20 each at a well known restaurant that took reservations. We were seated within 15 minutes of our appointment and the server was friendly. The food took a long time to arrive (45 minutes from the time we were seated) and... More

The Cooperage was always a great place with a great salad bar. Unfortunately, our last couple of visits were a mess of rude staff and less than mediocre food. I really like to support locally owned businesses, but will never return.

Little change in the past 30 years The prime rib and steak restaurant with a super salad bar. The green chili sick of chicken soup has been a star for over 10 years. Salad bar with fresh ingredients on piles of ice keep it chilled and fresh Did you know reservations and a very busy night I had dinner in... More

I took my daughter-in-law and two grandchildren at noon one day and although she and I only had the salad bar, it took an hour to get the children's meals! They kept saying it was on it's way...on and on! I should have gotten up and left!

My husband and I asked a store manager for a suggestion and he sent us to the Cooperage. We had a terrific meal. I love salad bars and they have a terrific salad bar. It is typically a great judge of a restaurant if the bread is good and here it was great. Not mushy but a great crust. We... More

Think twice before planning a group meal at the Cooperage. The manager on May 31, 2014, was dishonest and a completely insensitive human being. We had reserved their private room for dinner for 25+ people after my son's memorial service; I saw the hostess write it into their reservation book the day before. When the first people arrived, he told... More
