After reading about this restaurant and being an experienced fan of Cajun cooking and food, our comfort food, we looked this place up. parking lot small and cramped. Had to wait to be seated and dining room cramped and dark. Server was polite but slow, however this was with out a doubt the worst food ever cooked. poorly spiced and... More

For a long time I have seen Ragin' Shrimp and wanted to try it. Heaven knows I could use a change from the green chili/red chili sameness of Albuquerque. Well, I tried it and gave myself the treat of a $40 solo lunch. Yes, a $40 lunch in Albuquerque. It was so-so. The breading on the shrimp was heavy, even... More

This is an awesome Cajun restaurant. The menu and specials sound wonderful, but I always get the same thing. Angel Hair Pasta with Shrimp and one of their yummy sauces. This last time I got the peanut sauce. Hot of course! Outstanding! When they say hot, it's hot! I've also had the Cajun, Jamaican, Cilantro and Lime. There was live... More

A local artist recommended this restaurant as reasonably priced Cajun fare. We enjoyed a nice, quiet meal. Service was very good, gumbo was delicious, good local beer. Would recommend it. Etouffe was pretty spicy.

A friend told us about Ragin' Shrimp so we decided to check it out for dinner on a Wednesday evening. As others have stated the on location parking is very limited but it not being a weekend we were able to find a spot. There were patrons at only 3 tables inside and 1 outside on the patio. But the... We went to Ragin' Shrimp on a whim. I hadn't been there for over 10 years, and when we got in, we had to wait for a few minutes for a table, but it wasn't a big deal since they had an activity area for our 2 kiddos. It's a very small restaurant, cozy I would call it. They were... More

I waited 90 minutes for one to-go order. I suspect they are insensitive to cultural differences. The whole experience was mistreating of me as the customer.

On a recent Wednesday night we stopped in to try Ragin' Shrimp. We're relatively new to town, it's in our neighborhood and as former Chesapeake Bay area folk, we miss good shrimp. So, in we pop. "Sorry, we stop seating at 8 O'Clock in the winter." was our greeting. Now, the fact that it was just before 8 (7:55 by... More

We went to Ragin' Shrimp after it had been suggested more than once by someone else in the party. The food and service were not bad, just not worth a return trip. Among the group, we had a pretty good variety of orders, but I have a feeling that if I'd sampled anyone else's dinner, it would have tasted pretty... More

Slowest service on the world. Never even offered me water. Save your time and get faster service elsewhere.
