I have had green chile chicken soup at a lot of places around town, and Paul's has the best! They only have it on Tuesday's though. I am a Tuesday regular! Although I am quite a bit younger than the normal crowd at Paul's (generally the crowd is 60 and up, I'd say) I still go every week because the... More

This has been one of the best restaurants in Albuquerque since the 70's and has continuously gotten excellent ratings - usually best steakhouse I think.. I've only been here twice - once in the 70's and once last year but the atmosphere and food were great. More

Old school steak house! Large booth and dark interior. Great steaks. More

This was a very pleasant dining experience. The food was great, no question. The service was a little slow, but adequate. Overall, it was a great evening. More

We have been going to Paul's Monterey Inn for all our special occasions for almost 30 years. Not so much now that I live on the other side of town, but we always try to take out of town visitors if we have time. It's changed some over the years (in the changes of the interior of the building), but... More

Has a 1960's Vegas look/feel with well made American dishes. Any meat or pasta eater will leave full and happy. More

Have been coming for 20 years. Lunch is the best deal in town (good steak sandwiches, roast beef au jus with green chile strips) etc. You're not sure what decade you're in and it doesn't matter. If you know Albuquerque you're just glad theres still a real quality place to go to in the NE Heights. Head for the bar... More

There is no doubt they have the best prime rib you will ever eat, and the price is reasonable. You get the soup of the day along with salad. I was surprised at the great salad that was included, not just a lump of iceberg lettuce, but a variety of fresh greens. All this for $25.00. The service was excellent.... More

We dined here tonight, while visiting in Albuquerque. The fresh, hot bread was great and the salad was good. The steaks were fine, but not the best steaks I have eaten. (but good value for the money) The wait staff were very friendly and attentive. The decor is a bit tired, but fine. (chairs are kind of low though!) The... More
