This was our first visit; but it won't be the last. We enjoyed the atmosphere throughout the restaurant. We both ordered combination plates to try a variety of their food offerings and had the best rellenos we've eaten Albuquerque. They have a large New Mexican oriented menu.. The green chile was excellent had had just enough heat so the flavor... More

The restaurant called Patrons need to taste the margaritas ... They are cutting corners when making a this tasty easy drink to make ... Start with good ingredients you can go wrong ... Food is fair chili sauce ops not traditional red sauce from New Mexico ... I go to listen to great music from Freddy Chavez ...

We have been to El Patron many time and the food is consistently great! The rellenos are like homemade from Grandma's kitchen. On the weekends, ask for outside seating and listen to the band playing on the patio. Overall great experience.

The atmosphere is great for Sunday brunch, mariachi musicians. But the Salsa contained a long hair. When I told Jimmy the manager, he just said , " It's a white hair so it can't come from our kitchen". No gesture of any compensation , no apology, no nothing. So, check out your salsa before scooping. Margarita was watered down, not... More

This place has some of the best Chiles Rellenos in town! Their Carne Adovada is also terrific. Fun ambiance inside and out. Beer on top served in icy glasses! We enjoy this relatively new place for New Mexican food. It is nice to have it so close in the far northeast heights!

This is one of our favorite restaurants when we visit. We live in Florida but my husband is an Albuquerque native and he loves it. Can't get enough of those green chiles and sopapillas.

We had a very good meal here. The waiter was a little to pushy and over nice but that was too big of a deal. All the food was very flavorful and enjoyable. This is one of my parents go to restaurants. It always seems to be very busy, not sure if you can call ahead. Parking is also very... More

El Patron is where the old Garduno's used to be and it seems like not much has changed. The interior looks basically the same, and so does the menu. Actually the variety seems to be a little less unless you want the higher end steak or salmon (that Mexican?). Not a bad to place to eat, but also not anything... More

We thought it was a nice looking place to eat. We had sangria and dinner. The chips were greasy, the salsa was warm but tasteless. Very mediocre. I had a salad and calamari, my husband had enchiladas. Salad was nothing special infact I left most of it. Calamari was ok tender but non discript. Bob said his dish was just... More
